Re: League Jobs
The league needs an article writer for the Sunday Men's B West Division. No experience needed. Score sheets are posted online within a day or so of the games. With user name and password, you can access these sheets online. Write the articles and post them to the league forum. It's pretty simple. Th...

Re: State of the Quarry
From what I've just been told, the Horsham area just got hit with hail and a serious downpour. Ugh! The condition of the ball fields has now become questionable. The call will have to be made tomorrow morning. Again, check Twitter and Facebook before you leave for your game. If there is no announcem...

Re: State of the Quarry
The Quarry ball field was heavily nail dragged today. I have to admit, that field never ceases to amaze me. After a week's long rain, some of it heavy, and rain until 10:30 this morning, by noon the field was dry enough to get a large 4-wheeler on it and a half an hour later it was playable. Tim O'S...

Re: State of the Quarry
The new ball field light fixtures for the Quarry are and have been in my possession for a few months now. As soon as the ball field and surrounding area dries out to the point where a lift truck can get out there, the new LED lights will be installed. I know some people have made negative comments a...

Opening Day Weather
It's gonna be cold tonight. No doubt about it. Dressing warm with layers will be the prudent thing for most. However, my guess is we will see a player or 2 wearing shorts. The league follows a strict protocol when it comes to postponing games. If the field becomes unplayable, the games are called. G...

From The Gutter / Week 14 / Playoffs
After losing Game 1 by 50+ pins vs. Finger Poppin’, OWASA battled back to win by a scant 6 pins in Game 2. Game 3 was a blowout for OWASA as Bob Worthington stepped up and hurled a 66-over 247 to move the team into the Finals. The Nines needed to get past PPB in a 1 game roll-off and they did. Much ...

Both will meet in the post season beginning this Sunday at 8 pm. 2 Ps and a V take the National Conference in a hard fought seasonal battle. The Nines and PPB tie for the number 2 ...
