Lukens Park Detour

Post by sixofdiamonds »

Horsham Township will be working to remove a large portion of the trees that line Dresher Road in the front of Lukens Park. Unfortunately, the majority of the trees are ash trees and have died due to the Emerald Ash Borer. This will cause road closures on Dresher Road from Gibraltar Road to Witmer Road. We expect to close Dresher Road in both directions between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm beginning on Monday, April 16 and the work is expected to last for up to 5-7 business days. Please use Gibraltar to Prudential and Witmer to Prudential as a detour during the road closure. Detour signs are posted along the detour route.

Do they mention the park entrance being blocked off?

I don't think the park entrance is blocked off. If you are coming from Horsham Rd., the detour shouldn't affect you.
