League Work

Working for the league is a great way to get relief from the cost of league fees.
I need an umpire for Sunday mornings. You would work 3 or 4 games per week plus post season games. At better than $20.00 per hour, it's a pretty good gig. All that is required is slightly thick skin, very poor hearing, and a short memory. Experience is not a prerequisite. To become an official ASA umpire, you need to to complete an ASA questionnaire that requires only 1/2 a brain to successfully negotiate, read and understand our local SBA rules, and have a general understanding of how the game works.
If you are interested, please contact the league office. Deadbeats need not apply.
