From The Gutter / Week 9

Post by sixofdiamonds »

Two and a Half Men take 5 of 7 from Shut Up and Roll. Glen Hipple returns from his sabbatical to fire 3 games over.

The Nines bounce back with a 5-2 win over Big Heads as Jake Wade and Dave Ward each fire 3 games over. Newcomer Brandon Dunlap hurls a 247 to save the 2-point play for BH.

Pin Splitters stay in North contention with a 5-2 win over A Team Has No Name. 3 games over by Emily Kline was the difference maker.

Wu-Tang Forever flushes Bowl Movement. The 7-zip win was paced by Jon Poore’s pair of deuces.

The Incredibowls make their presence felt in the North with another big week. The 7-0 win comes at the hands of Splits and Giggles. Leading the way was Justin Haines’ 3 games over including an 83-over 191.

Finger Poppin edges PC Squared 4-3 on a 3-game over night by Ryan Garges. Both teams are within a few points of their respective divisions.

Suds just can’t seem to lather it up on a consistent basis. On again, off again. The 5-2 loss to The Bowling Stones places them just about a week’s worth of points out of the lead - not insurmountable by any stretch of the imagination. Tom Egitto flashes signs of brilliance for TBS.

Gutter Humiliation makes a big move in the East by taking advantage of the no-show Glory Bowlers. Not bad for a team with a 5-23 record after Week 4. As a team they tossed 7 of 9 over average, exactly what needs to be done when bowling no-showers.

PPB grabs 5 from Three Fingers Deep. Paul Harvan (45-over, 243) and Bob Kolecki (64-over, 238) explode in Game 2.

Split or Swallow takes advantage of a no-show Dookie Brewster with a 7-point play. The big win puts them in 2nd place in the West. Not too shabby for a team with a 9-26 record after Week 5.

That’s How We Roll and Split Happens each take home 0 points for their no-show efforts.

Little Lebowski is on a roll. They beat up on FYC to move within a point of the East leader, tossing 9 of 9 over average. Dan O’Brien hurls a nifty 153-over, 633 3-game series.

Split Heads maintains their West lead with a 5-2 win over Gutter Girls. Bill Shallcross led the SH charge with a 3-game over 621 series, including an 81-over 243 in Game 1. Jean Mazza’s 64-over 183 saves the 2-pointer for GG.
