Game 1 – Isotopes at Expendables
After the Isotopes took an early 1-0 lead in the first, this game tilted toward the home team. Joe Kindt’s 3-run bomb in the bottom of the first set the tone, en route to a 6-run inning. H ehit another in the second, and the Expendables followed with a double from Pete Donelly, a double from Ray Bittingham, a triple from matt Keller, and a double from Bill Larkin. It was 10-1 after two.
Dave Ray got things restarted for the Isotopes with a double in the third, as his team scored 1 that inning and 3 more in the fourth. But in the sixth, the Expendables would tack on 4 insurance runs, led by Matt keller’s 2-run double.
Final Score: Expendables 15 Isotopes 6
Player of the Game: Joe Kindt went 2 for 2 with 2 homeruns, 4 RBIs and 2 Runs Scored before exiting with an injury.

Game 2 – Pitches Be Crazy at Hambinos
It took them 5 singles, but Pitches kicked off the top of the first with 3 runs. In the bottom half, Hambinos got 3 of their own, thanks to Spencer Slutskys double and Anthony Stevens 2-run triple.
Brian Hughes’ triple helped Pitches to plate 3 more in the second…and then 4 singles amounted to 3 more for Hambinos in the bottom half. 6-6 after two.
Pitches took their third and final lead when John Aiken led off the fourth with a triple and scored 2 batters later, as Chris Jennings led a 4-run inning in the bottom half with his RBI triple. The Hambinos then tacked on 3 insurance runs in the sixth thanks to Bob Gower’s RBI double and Mark Peasley’s RBI triple.
Final Score: Hambinos 14 Pitches Be Crazy 7
Player of the Game: Chris Jennings went 2 for 3 with a triple, RBI and 2 Runs scored.

Game 3 – Jackhammers at Baron Von Fritz
Scoring kicked off in the second as Dan Jensen doubled for the Jackhammers, later scoring. But Baron responded in the bottom half with a Grand Slam from Jamie Kracht, putting Baron up 4-1.
The Jackhammers would tie it in the third and then take the lead in the fourth on Brian Pestridge’s 2-RBI triple. They went on to pad their lad in the fifth with 2 more runs, compliments of Mike Zharadinzk’s RBI double and again with 4 more thanks to back-to-back 2-RBI singles from Tom Finn and Kevin Rosini.
Down 14-4, Brandon Burrows helped Baron to claw their way back in with his RBI double en route to a 4-run inning.
Mike Wadsworth would homer and Brian Pestridge would double for the Jackhammers, helping to tack on 2 insurance runs in the seven before Baron attempted the comeback. After loading the bases with no outs, Baron scored one on a sac fly, 2 on Brandon Burrows’ double, and another on Andy Ambruch’s single…but it wouldn’t be enough.
Final Score: Jackhammers 16 Baron Von Fritz 12
Player of the Game: Brian pestridge went 4 for 4 with a double, a triple, 3 RBIs and 2 Runs scoed.

Game 4 – Hattricks at MaGerks
Hattricks wasted no time, scoring 5 in the top of the first. Tyler Roetman led the way with his RBI double. Jeff Thome helped MaGerks to get 3 back in the bottom half with his 2-RBI double.
In the second, Hattricks offense blew the game wide open. 7 singles, a double from josh Graef and triples from John Scott and Roetman added up to 10 runs, giving Hattricks a commanding lead.
In the third, MaGerks got 3 back thanks to Blasé Contino’s triple and Brian Hilbert’s 2-RBI double. Then the teams traded 5-run innings in the fourth. Errors helped Hattricks quite a bit, while Jim Malloy’s 2-RBI triple led the way for MaGerks.
Hattricks used a handful of singles to pad the score to 22-11 in the top of the fifth before MaGerks would get one back in the bottom half. Looking to put the game away in the sixth, Tyler Roetman smashed a 3-run bomb, putting his team up 26-12. MaGerks wouldn’t plate a run in the bottom half, and the time limit ended this one early.
Final Score: Hattricks 26 MaGerks 12
Player of the Game: Tyler Roetman went 3 for 4 plus a sac fly with a double, triple, and homerun, 6 RBIs and 3 Runs Scored.
