Quarry

Game 1: Corradino Chiropractic vs. Maggios

Errors help CC take the lead with two runs in the top of the first. Maggios answers with four runs in the bottom of the

first with Jim Ulmer smashing a two run triple. Chris Beatty blasts a two run homer for Maggios in the bottom of the

second. Back to back doubles by Jim McLaughlin and Joe Tillman help CC put up two runs in the top of the third. CC gets

four more runs in the top of the fifth. A Brian Sassano homer nets Maggios two runs in the bottom of the fifth. CC

scores four runs in the top of the six thanks to triples by Jim McLaughlin and Tony Donohue. CC bats around in the top

of the seventh to plate seven runs with back to back homers by Joe Kindt and Jim McLaughlin. Maggios rallies for four

runs in the bottom of the seventh. Corradino Chiropractic takes care of Maggios, 19-12.

Game 2: Doom Cats vs. Silverbacks

Zach Martin smashes a leadoff homer for DC in the top of the first. The Silverbacks get two runs of their own in the

bottom of the first. Singles lead to three runs for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fourth. DC bats around in the

top of the fifth to get seven runs on singles. Ian Cuozzo rakes a two run double for the Silverbacks in the bottom of

the fifth. DC bats around again in the top of the sixth as eight runs come in on even more singles. Triples by Matt

Hatch and Jeff Bush, and a Chris Hackney two run homer lead to six runs for DC in the top of the seventh. The

Silverbacks rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Doom Cats smash the Silverbacks, 26-12.

Game 3: Goodfellas vs. Vertex

GF bats around in the top of the first to score nine runs on singles. A Steve Stoneback double helps net Vertex three

runs in the bottom of the third. Vertex bats around in the bottom of the fifth to push seven runs across with a double

by Sean Nonemacher. A double by Frank Kurtz helps GF put up two runs in the top of the seventh. Down a run in the

bottom of the seventh, Vertex rallies for two runs on errors and singles. Vertex beats the Goodfellas in walk off

fashion, 13-12.

Game 4: Goodfellas vs. Pigeon Boyz

GF bats around in the top of the first to plate ten runs on walks, singles, and a double by Frank Kurtz. GF gets two

runs in the top of the second. Ryan Russell rakes a run scoring double for PB in the bottom of the second. A Mike

Gilbert double helps get a run for PB in the bottom of the third. A leadoff triple by Frank Kurtz helps net GF four runs

in the top of the fifth. The Goodfellas make quick work of the Pigeon Boyz, 18-3.

B South

Cedar Hill

Game 1: E's Irish Pub vs. Maggios

Back to back to back doubles by Erik Schwab, Alex Tamburino, and Drake Sprouse give Maggios five runs in the bottom of the first. A leadoff double by Joe Bernat leads to a run for EIP in the top of the second. Two runs cross the plate for Maggios in the bottom of the second thanks to doubles by Erik Schwab and Drake Sprouse. Rob Worthington rips a run scoring double for EIP in the top of the third. Errors net EIP two runs in the top of the fifth. Maggios tops E's Irish Pub, 8-5.

Game 2: North Whalers vs. Maggios

Kyle Boyle smashes a run scoring triple for Maggios as three runs cross the plate in the bottom of the first. Kevin Walker blasts a two run homer for Maggios in the bottom of the third. Maggios bats around in the bottom of the fifth to put up nine runs with doubles by Jared Katz, Erik Schwab, Alex Tamburino, and Alex Heller. North Whalers leave their bats at home. Maggios shuts out North Whalers, 15-0.

Game 3: Legends of the Fall vs. North Whalers

LOTF takes an early lead with a run in the top of the first. Sean Cumiskey rakes a two run double for NW in the bottom of the second. LOTF picks up six runs in the top of the third thanks to doubles by Pat Feliciani and Bryan Fennell. George Cressman jacks a solo homer for LOTF as three runs cross the plate in the top of the fourth. NW bats around in the bottom of the fourth to to get six runs on walks and singles. NW bats around again in the bottom of the fifth to plate twelve runs courtesy of walks, singles, and a two run double by Andy Heinrich. North Whalers beat down Legends of the Fall, 23-10.

Game 4: Hitmen vs. The Expendables

Singles and a double by Matt Fithian net the Hitmen two runs in the top of the first. TE answers with three runs in the bottom of the first with a run scoring triple by Dan Altenus. Matt Keller rips a double for TE in the bottom of the second. Doubles by Christian Fernandez and Joe Collins give the Hitmen two runs in the top of the fourth. Pete Donnely lasers a three run double for TE in the bottom of the sixth. The Expendables down the Hitmen, 8-5.

CB West

Game 4: Sticky Bandits vs. Spartans

John Mish jacks a leadoff homer for SB in the top of the first. The Spartans put up three runs in the bottom of the first as Brian Kosik rips a two run triple. SB bats around in the top of the second to put up five runs with a two run double by Kellen McLaughlin. A two run double by Colin Donohoe helps SB plate four runs in the top of the third. Brian Kosik jacks a leadoff triple for the Spartans to get another run. Doubles by Tom Koelzer and Will Sands net SB two runs in the top of the fourth. SB bats around in the top of the fift to push nine runs across thanks to a triple by Colin Donohoe, and a TJ Cieri homer. The Spartans score four runs in the bottom of the sixth, courtesy of a triple by John Logler and a Brian Kosik solo homer. The Sticky Bandits beat down the Spartans, 21-10.
