A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Dark Horse vs. Silverbacks

A triple by Paul Ferruzzi leads to a run for DH in the top of the first. The Silverbacks answer with a run thanks to a double by Jamal Covington. Back to back doubles by Zach Adams and Bill Jones net DH a run in the top of the second. DH adds two runs in the top of the fourth. Paul Ferruzzi smokes an RBI triple for DH in the top of the sixth. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the sixth to score six runs with doubles by Dave Parco and Ted Munn. The Silverbacks top Dark Horse, 8-5.

Game 2: Philly Junk vs. Philly Fire

Mike Testa smokes a two run triple for PJ in the top of the first. Back to back to back doubles by Justin Miller, KC Ingram, and Mike Testa lead to four runs for PJ in the top of the second. PF gets on the board with three runs in the bottom of the second. PJ bats around in the top of the third to plate four runs with a three run homer by Tom Koelzer. A double by Jake Paxon helps PF score a run in the bottom of the fourth. PJ bats around again in the top of the fifth to put up TEN runs with another three run homer by Tom Koelzer, and back to back triples by KC Ingram and Mike Testa. Philly Junk beats down Philly Fire, 21-4.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Wire 2 Wire

An RBI triple by Greg Cuarino leads to two runs for W2W in the bottom of the first. Matt Huhn laces an RBI double for W2W in the bottom of the second. DC gets on the board with three runs in the top of the third thanks to an RBI double by Chris Hackney. Tom Koelzer rips an RBI triple by DC in the top of the fourth. Back to back doubles by Matt Wass and Sean Butrica help W2W put up two runs in the bottom of the fifth. W2W adds two insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth. A leadoff triple by Jose Rodriguez nets DC a run in the top of the seventh. Wire 2 Wire gets by the Doom Cats, 8-5.

Game 4: Vertex vs. One Hit Wonders

Two runs cross the plate for Vertex in the top of the first thanks to a double by Steve Stoneback, and a Sean Nonemacher triple. OHW answer with two runs in the bottom of the first. Vertex plates four runs in the top of the fourth with homers by Steve Stoneback and John Erb. OHW bat around in the bottom of the fourth to push five runs across with a Jesse Grasso two run homer. Matt Schaub jacks a three run homer for Vertex in the top of the fifth. Vertex bats around in the top of the sixth to score six runs with a two run triple by Steve Stoneback, and a Matt Schaub two run homer. Andy Springer rips a two run triple for OHS in the bottom of the sixth. Vertex bats around in the top of the seventh to get TEN runs on singles, a bases loaded triple by Pat Tuthill, and a Jonn Erb two run homer. Vertex destroys One Hit Wonders, 27-10.

B South

Carpenter

Game 1: Swingers vs. Broad St Bullies

The Swingers take an early lead with two runs in the top of the first. Singles lead to six runs in the top of the third for the Swingers. The Swingers add eight runs in the top of the fourth thanks to homers by Aiden Coyle and Ben Razzi. Ben Razzi smashes another three run homer for the Swingers in the top of the fifth. BSB finally get on the board in the bottom of the fifth with two runs thanks to an RBI double by Tom Newall. The Swingers destroy the Broad St Bullies, 22-2.

Game 2: Swingers vs. Lucky Dogs

Singles give the Swinger four runs in the top of the first. A double by Matt Close helps the Swingers plate a run in the top of the third. Tim Gluck jacks a two run homer for LD in the bottom of the fourth. The Swingers add seven runs in the top of the fifth on singles. The Swingers get four insurance runs in the top of the seventh on errors and singles. LD rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with a solo homer by Matt Jacobson. The Swingers take care of Lucky Dogs, 17-4.

Game 3: Lucky Dogs vs. Spartans

LD bats around in the top of the first to score five runs on singles. The Spartans plate four runs in the bottom of the first on doubles by Antonio Almeida and Brian Kosik. Tim Frel blasts a solo homer for LD in the top of the second. The Spartans bat around in the bottom of the second to score seven runs with a Jeff Rivera double. LD bats around in the top of the third to put up nine runs on singles, and doubles by Ryan McAvely, Matt Jacobson, and Ron Thurman. The Spartans bat around in the bottom of the fourth to push TEN runs across on walks and singles. The Spartans bat around again in the bottom of the fifth to score eight runs on walks and a walk off grand slam. The Spartans spank the Lucky Dogs, 30-15.

Lukens I

Game 2: Web Gems vs. The Naturals

WG gets a run in the top of the first. TN answer with a run in the bottom of the first. WG bats around in the top of the second to plate on walks and singles. Eric Pincus smokes a two run double for TN in the bottom of the third as four runs cross the plate. Alex Laros rips an RBI double for WG in the top of the fifth. Harry Steglich jacks a two run homer for WG in the top of the sixth. The Web Gems beat The Naturals, The Web Gems down The Naturals, 15-7.

Game 3: D & A Electric vs. Hitmen

DAE takes an early lead with four runs in the top of the first on singles. Back to back doubles by Mike Sirianni and Dennis D’Angelo net the Hitmen two runs in the bottom of the second. Kevin Conrad smashes a two run triple for DAE in the top of the third. The Hitmen add six runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a two run homer by Nick Lang. DAE rallies for four runs in the top of the seventh with a three run homer by Brendon McCoy. The Hitmen walk it off in the bottom of the seventh with Dennis D’Angelo delivering the game winning hit. The Hitmen beat D & A Electric in dramatic fashion, 11-10.

Hatfield

Game 1: Sticky Bandits vs. Steam

John Mish blasts a two run homer for SB in the top of the first. Anthony Peretti rips an RBI double for Steam in the bottom of the first. Anthony Peretti smashes a three run homer for Steam in the bottom of the third, SB adds two run in the top of the fourth. A double by Jon Weinstein helps SB pick up two runs in the top of the fifth. Singles lead to another two runs for Steam in the bottom of the sixth. We head to free softball where SB manages to add a run in the top of the eighth. Sticky Bandits squeak by Steam, 9-8.
