A Division

Quarry

Game 1: Doom Cats vs. Philly Fire

An RBI double by Mike Koelzer leads to a run for DC in the top of the first. Mike Leone smashes an RBI triple for PF in the bottom of the first. DC bats around in the top of the second to plate TEN runs on singles, doubles by Zach Martin, Jose Rodriguez, Tom Koelzer, and Matt Hatch, and a two run Connor Thorpe triple. DC adds three runs in the top of the third. Singles net PF three runs in the bottom of the third. Jon Poore jacks a three run homer for DC in the top of the seventh. The Doom Cats beat down Philly Fire, 21-4.

Game 2: Philly Fire vs. Misfits

Zach Downs jacks a solo homer for the Misfits in the bottom of the second. A leadoff triple by Angel A nets PF a run in the top of the third. Four runs cross the plate for the Misfits in the bottom of the third thanks to an RBI double by Zach Downs, and an Eric Tidwell RBI triple. The Misfits score six runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to doubles by Pat Brennon, Tommy O’Neal, and Tim Grafin. Angel A jacks a solo homer for PF in the top of the fifth. Angel A smashes another solo homer for PF in the top of the seventh. The Misfits take down Philly Fire, 11-5.

Game 3: Silverbacks vs. Vertex

The Silverbacks bat around in the top of the first to put up five runs on singles, and a two run double by Rob McKenna. Vertex answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. The Silverbacks plate three runs in the top of the second with an RBI double by Jamal Covington. An RBI double by Sean Nonemacher helps Vertex get three runs in the bottom of the second. Dave Keightly smokes an RBI double for Vertex in the bottom of the fifth. The Silverbacks rally for five runs in the top of the seventh on singles. Chris Abato manages to blast a solo homer for Vertex in the bottom of the seventh. The Silverbacks squeak by Vertex, 13-11.

B South

Hatfield

Game 2: Sticky Bandits vs. Web Gems

SB bats around in the top of the first to put up six runs with a two run double by Colin Donohoe. WG bats around in the bottom of the second to plate TEN runs on walks, singles, and doubles by Joe Ferrell and Brandon Crockett. Joe Ferrell smashes a solo homer for WG in the bottom of the third. SB adds a run in the top of the fourth. John Mish blasts a two run homer for SB in the top of the sixth. George Webb launches a three run homer for WG in the bottom of the sixth. The Web Gems beat the Sticky Bandits, 14-10.

Game 3: Hitmen vs. Spartans

The Hitmen get five runs in the top of the first thanks to back to back homers by Mike Sirianni and Chris Cruz. A leadoff double by Antonio Almeida helps the Spartans score a run in the bottom of the first. The Hitmen bat around to plate TEN runs in the top of the second thanks to a bases loaded triple by Dennis D’Angelo, and a Mike Sirianni two run homer. Back to back doubles by Matt Yoskowitz and Kevin Cruz net the Hitmen four runs in the top of the fourth. The Spartans get another three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Matt Welsh blasts a two run homer for the Spartans in the bottom of the sixth. The Hitmen add TEN insurance runs in the top of the seventh on errors, singles, and doubles by Mark McLaughlin and Chris Cruz. The Hitmen destroy the Spartans, 31-8.

Quarry

Game 4: The Naturals vs. Swingers

The Swingers bat around in the bottom of the first to get six runs on back to back doubles by Ben Razzi and Lucas Burke, and a Matt Close two run homer. The Swingers add two runs in the bottom of the second. TN finally gets on the board in the top of the third with two runs on errors. A leadoff triple by Kevin Weintraub nets the Swingers two runs in the bottom of the third. Ben Razzi smashes a three run homer for the Swingers in the bottom of the fourth. A two run double by Brian Close ends this one for the Swingers in the bottom of the fifth. The Swingers make quick work of The Naturals, 17-2.

Cedar Hill

Game 4: Steam vs. Lucky Dog

Anthony Reretti smashes a three run homer for Steam in the top of the first. Back to back doubles by Brian Murphy and Colin Leach net Steam three runs in the top of the second. LD gets on the board in the bottom of the second with a run. Brain Murphy smashes a two run homer for Steam in the top of the third. A Tim Frei double nets LD a run in the bottom of the third. Four runs cross the plate for Steam in the top of the fourth thanks to doubles by Matt Sheehan, Pat Longo, and Tyler Fornwait. LD bats around in the bottom of the sixth to put up four runs on back to back doubles by Matt Jacobson and Tim Gluck. Steam adds four runs in the top of the seventh with doubles by Colin Leach and Tyler Fornwait. Steam wins against Lucky Dog, 19-7.

Lukens I

Game 4: Broad St Bullies vs. D & A Electric

BSB scores two runs in the top of the first on singles. Brendan McCoy jacks a three run homer for DAE in the bottom of the first. More singles lead to four runs for BSB in the top of the third. Chirs Hackney rips an RBI double for BSB in the top of the fourth. Walks and singles help DAE score three runs in the bottom of the fifth. A Tom Newall triple helps BSB pick up a run in the top of the sixth. DAE rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. Broad St Bullies squeak by D & A Electric, 10-9.
