Game 1: Vertex vs. Doom Cats

Vertex vs. Doom Cats

Vertex takes the lead with two runs in the top of the first. A triple by Mat Crowell leads to a run for Vertex in the top of the third. Vertex bats around in the top of the fourth to score six runs with a two run double by CJ Snyder. DC finally gets on the board in the bottom of the fifth when a double nets a run. Back to back doubles by Joe Healy and Will Otinger get DC a run in the bottom of the fifth. Back to back doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Matt Schaub help Vertex plate a run in the top of the sixth. Vertex bats around in the top of the seventh to get six runs thanks to doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Matt Schaub, Frank Staber, and Derek Knightly. Vertex beats down Doom Cats, 16-2.

Game 2: Corradino Chiropractic vs. Pigeon Boyz

Tony Donahue rips a two run triple for CC in the top of the first. PB bats around in the bottom of the first to score ofur runs with a Jim Fannon two run triple. CC bats around in the top of the fifth to get four runs on walks and singles. James McLaughlin jacks a two run homer. PB bats around again in the bottom of the sixth to push six runs across on walks, singles, and a double by Tom Rider. The Pigeon Boyz squeak by Corradino Chiropractic, 12-11.

Game 3: Maggios vs. Goodfellas

A leadoff double by Phil Bandini leads to a run for Maggios in the top of the first. The Goodfellas get on the board first with two runs in the bottom of the first. A leadoff triple by Jay Pane nets the Goodfellas a run in the bottom of the third. Maggios bats around in the top of the sixth to put up nine runs thanks to doubles by Dave Ulmer and Mike Mackley, and a Ryan Oberholtzer three run homer. The Goodfellas take their turn at batting around in the bottom of the sixth with five runs crossing the plate on walks and singles. Maggios tops the Goodfellas, 12-9.

Game 4: Maggios vs. Silverbacks

Maggios picks up two runs in the top of the first. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the second to plate seven runs with a three run homer by Shawn Rush. Eric Beatty rakes a two run triple for Maggios in the top of the fifth. Five runs come in for Maggios in the top of the sixth on singles, and a double by Phil Bandini. A leadoff double by Rob McKenna nets the Silverbacks a run in the bottom of the sixth. The Silverbacks rally for three runs in the bottom of the seventh on walks and singles. In extras, Maggios takes the lead with two runs. The Silverbacks win with three runs in the bottom of the eighth on singles. The Silverbacks beat Maggios in extra innings, 15-14.

B South

Cedar Hill

Game 2: Spartans vs. The Expendables

Mike Capell rakes a double as the Spartans get a run in the top of the first. A Bryan Renn double leats to two runs for TE in the bottom of the second. The Spartans score four runs in the top of the third thanks to a double by Mike Gledhill, and a Mike Capell triple. TE gets four runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to doubles by Jeff Headd, Matt Keller, and Bryan Renn. The Expendables squeak by the Spartans, 7-6.

Game 3: Maggios vs. Spartans

Maggios bats around in the top of the second to score six runs thanks to a Kevin Walker two run triple, and a Mike Tersha solo homer. The Spartans bat around in the bottom of the second to plate six runs with back to back two run doubles by Mike Capell and Brian Kosik. Alex Heller blasts a solo homer for Maggios in the top of the third. The Spartans put up three runs, courtesy of a double by Jay Cowan and a Brian Kosik triple. Josh Jarman smokes a run scoring double for the Spartans in the bottom of the sixth. Maggios rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. The Spartans get by Maggios, 13-10.

Lukens 3

Game 3: Sticky Bandits vs. E's Irish Pub

SB gets four runs in the top of the second with doubles by Will Sands and Colin Donohoe. Tom Koelzer launches a solo homer for SB in the top of the fourth. EIP finally gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the fifth. SB bats around in the top of the sixth to pick up five runs with a bases loaded triple by Colin Donohoe. Back to back doubles by Jeremy Villano and Tom Collins net EIP a run in the bottom of the sixth. EIP rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a Mark Kennedy triple. The Sticky Bandits down E's Irish Pub, 14-5.

Game 4: Hitmen vs. Legends

The Hitmen plate two runs in the top of the first. Oz Dawson rakes a run scoring double for the Hitmen in the top of the third. Back to back doubles by Pat Feliciani and Chris Cruz lead to three runs for Legends in the bottom of the third. Singles and walks give the Hitmen three runs in the top of the fourth. Legends push five runs across in the bottom of the fourth on errors and singles. Haeyden Cruz jacks a two run double for Legends in the bottom of the fifth. A run scoring triple by Brian Dayton leads to three runs for the Hitmen in the top of the seventh. Legends rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh in a walk off win. Legends beats the Hitmen in dramatic fashion, 13-12.
