Game 1: Yankee Clippers vs. Pigeon Boyz

YC scores six runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by Vince DiPalma, Andre O’Donnell, and John Bennett. PB bats around in the bottom of the first to plate ten runs on walks, singles, and a three run triple by Justin Miller. PB bats around again in the bottom of the second to put up seven runs on doubles by Mike Gilbert and Justin Miller, and a Mike Bitterlich two run run homer. YC gets another run in the top of the third. The Pigeon Boyz beat down the Yankee Clippers, 21-7.

Game 2: Vertex vs. Pigeon Boyz

Vertex scores two runs in the top of the first. PB bats around in the top of the second to plate six runs on walks and singles. PB gets on the board in the bottom of the second with a run. Waks give PB a run in the bottom of the fourth. Vertex pushes six runs across in the top of the sixth on singles, and RBI triples by Dan McGreary and Steve Stoneback. PB rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh with a three run homer by Shane Hannah. Vertex takes care of the Pigeon Boyz, 17-6.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Vertex

A double by Zach Martin helps DC get a run in the top of the first. Two runs cross the plate for Vertex in the bottom of the first with a double by Derek K, and a Matt S triple. Vertex bats around in the bottom of the second to score seven runs, thanks to triples by Matt S and Frank S. DC bats around in the top of the third to pick up seven runs with doubles by Matt Hatch Chris Beatty. DC bats around again in the top of the fourth to push five runs across on walks, a double by Chris Hackney ,and a Matt Hatch triple. Matt S smokes a two run triple for Vertex in the bottom of the fourth. CJ S smokes the game winning single for Vertex in the bottom of the seventh. Vertex beats the Doom Cats in dramatic fashion, 15-14.

Game 4: Maggios vs. Silverbacks

Maggios gets five runs in the top of the first on walks and singles. A leadoff triple by Shawn Rush nets the Silverbacks a run in the bottom of the first. Back to back doubles by Pat Clark and Jim Ulmer lead to five runs for Maggios in the top of the second. Brian Sassano smokes an RBI triple for Maggios in the top of the third. Maggios bats around in the top of the fourth to put up seven runs on doubles by Eric Beatty and Brian Autenrieth. The Silverbacks score another run in the bottom of the fifth. Maggios smokes the Silverbacks, 23-3.

B South

Game 1: Lost Boys vs. Sons of Pitches

Singles get LB three runs in the top of the first. Derrick Myers rips a two run double for SOP in the bottom of the first. Arik Fenton jacks a three run homer for LB in the top of the third. SOP picks up another two runs in the bottom of the third. LB plates four runs in the top of the fourth thanks to a double by Jordan Roman, and a Harry Steglich triple. Jake Haber smashes a three run homer for LB in the top of the fifth, Paul Elliott blats a two run triple for SOP in the bottom of the fifth. The Lost Boys get by Sons of Pitches, 15-11.

Game 2: Legends vs. Lost Boys

LB gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. Ryan Legeckes ropes a run scoring double for LB in the bottom of the third. Dennis D”Angelo rips a two run double to get Legends on the board with two runs in the top of the fifth. LB scores four runs in the bottom of the sixth with back to back RBI doubles by Arik Fenton and Pete Corrigan. The Legends get another run in the top of the seventh. The Lost Boys beat the Legends, 7-4.

Game 3: Pitches Be Crazy vs. Legends

Nick Urena smokes an RBI double for PBC in the top of the first. Legends answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Legends plates four runs in the bottom of the second with doubles by Haeyden Cruz, Mark McLaughlin, and Kevin Cruz. PBC bats around in the top of the fifth to score four runs thanks to doubles by Nick Urena, Kevin Carver, and Kevin Gillialand. Dennis D’Angelo blasts a run scoring triple for Legends in the bottom of the fifth. The Legends down Pitches Be Crazy, 10-7.

Game 4: E’s Irish Pub vs. Spartans

Three runs cross the plate for the Spartans in the bottom of the first with an RBI triple by Jeff Rodriguez. EIP scores five runs in the top of the second on singles. Mike Gledhill ropes a two run triple for the Spartans in the bottom of the second. EIP bats around in the top of the third to plate eleven runs with two run doubles by Mark Kennedy and Joe Bernat. Walks give EIP two runs in the top of the fifth. E’s Irish Pub blasts the Spartans, 23-7.

Game 4: Sticky Bandits vs. Maggios

SB bats around in the top of the first to get seven runs on singles, a double by John Mish, and a John Weinstein triple. Maggios answers with four runs in the bottom of the first on errors and walks. Six runs cross the plate for Maggios in the bottom of the second with doubles by Kevin Walker and Brendan McCoy. Maggios brings in four runs in the bottom of the third thanks to a two run double by Jared Katz. Nick Ryan blasts a three run homer for SB in the top of the seventh. Maggios out slugs the Sticky Bandits, 16-10.
