Game 1: Misfits v Amber Inn


The Misfits got on the board early as singles and a two RBI double from Zach Downs plates 4 runs. They would struggle in the middle of the game but score another 4 huge runs in the 7th inning as this time it was doubles off of the bats of Walt Zolna and Glen Davis giving major contributions.
Amber Inn would get its scoring going in the 3rd inning as Jack McKinney singles and scores on a Carl Ervin double. They would plate another 2 runs in the 5th as McKinney once again singles and scores, this time off of a Bruce Snyder double. In the 7th McKinney and Snyder would both single and score again for the boys in red but that would be all they could muster up as they fall 8 to 5.

Game 2: Philly’s Phinest v Amber Inn


Philly’s Phinest got on the board early as Mike Rocks singles and scored, They would add an additional run in the 3rd inning with a fielder’s choice and an error plating another run.
Amber Inn started fast in this game as they plate 3 runs on singles and errors in the 1st inning and another 4 in the 2nd by way of 5 singles and two walks.
Somehow this game ended in all hell breaking loose and Philly’s Phinest forfeits losing 7-0.

Game 3: Ballz Deep v One Hit Wonders

In a battle between the premier teams in B North, and potential championship preview, this game gave the fans plenty of bang for their buck. Ballz Deep got their scoring going in the 2nd inning as they plate four runs by way of the Fallsington super duo of Mark Bernacki tripling and Curt “10 years” Hensmen doubling. Jason Falcone saw his way onto third base via a triple to start off the 3rd inning and would score on a sac fly. Brian Carr ignited the offense in the 4th as his double would help plate two more runs. A sac fly would score auto-runner Brian Carr in the 8th to give the Ballz Deepers life and an RBI single from mean Gene in the 9th would add their final run for the day.
One Hit Wonders got on the board early in this one as Jesse Grasso led off with a solo dinger and Jack Stepnowski singled and scored. They added to their total with 3 singles plating two more runs in the 2nd to knot the score. A Grasso double and Stepnowski single would plate an additional run for the defending champs in the 5th. Jason laid the Hammer in the 6th inning as he cranked a super important two RBI double to guarentee extra innings. The Wonders would knot the score in the 8th as a sac fly plated auto-runner Bill Jones and end it via a walkoff as Jesse Grasso cranked a two run homer to send them home winners 10-9.
