The final weeks of the season are here. HG looks to remain undefeated and Palz looks to lock up the 2nd seed this week! In an interested week 5 of the SBA Summer Season. Let's get it started.

Jackhammers (A) vs Hattricks (H)

The Jackhammers got their first two men on base scoring both of them on a single and sac fly. The problem is, that was the only scoring that would be done for the Jackhammers all game! Josh Graef LAUNCHED a 2 run homer in the first to tie it up for Hattricks. In the second Hattricks got more than enough to cover the entire game as they batted around for 6 more, Pete Conrad had the big blow a 2 bagger. 8-2 Hattricks after 2. The 4th saw more Hattricks domination as they batted around AGAIN! Tyler Roetman was a STUD hitting 2 BOMB's accounting for 5 of the 10 runs scored in the inning. Hattricks win easily.

Game MVP(s) - Josh Graef 4-4 with a HR and Tyler Roetman 2-3 with 2 HRs and 6 RBI's

HG Coal Fired Pizza (A) vs Jackhammers (H)

"We didn't start the fire" but HG certainly did as they jumped to an early lead as Brendan Parker lauched a HOME RUN to cap off a 4 run first for HG. The Jackhammers hitting struggles continued into game 2's first inning as they went clean in the 1st. HG got a few more off of an error and 3 singles. Jackhammers finally woke up down 6-0, patience at the plate as the Coal Fired pitcher walked the bases loaded then Hipple and Finn decided to swing the bat to knock in 4 runs in the 2nd. 6-4 HG after 2 innings. HG slowed down scoring none over the next 3 innings but the Hammers were taking their shot at the top ranked Coal Fired Crew. Doubles by Lydon and Wadsworth were the catalyst for 4 runs to take an 8-6 lead. Down 2 in the 6th inning Justin Knapp came through with a TRIPLE and not to be outdone Andrew Parker went YARD to tie the game at 8. Hipp Hipp Hooray Glen Hipple singled and came around to score to give the Jackhammers at 9-8 lead headed to the last inning. 2 HUGE ERRORS by the Jackhammers lead to 2 HUGE runs for HG to take a 10-9 lead. The Jackhammers could not answer in the bottom of the inning and HG remains undefeated.

MaGerks (A) vs Palz Tap House (H)

MaGerks started extremely slow not scoring a run until the 4th inning, Palz started in the 2nd inning off of singles and walks scoring 4 runs and then again in the 3rd inning scoring two but this time off of extra base hits. Pistol Pete Herbert laced a Triple scoring FLASH FREEMAN and later scoring on a Sac Fly. 6-0 Palz after 3 innings. MaGerks finally got on the board in the top of the 3rd on a Blaze double and then he scored on a ROCK JOHNSON single. Palz answered with one of their own in the bottom half with singles and walks. Palz added more in the 5th FLASH doubled then Greener knocked him in who then came around to score on an error then a Heller single. E's was quiet for the first three innings scoring none! Palz didn't stop, PISTOL PETE Herbert hit a 3 RUN BOMB to make the lead 8-0 after 2 innings. In the top of the 4th "Mama their goes that man again" Pete Herbert continued his hot day with another 2 run double scoring later on a Reinboth 2 run single. 12-0... E's all but out of it had to make something happen and boy did they ever scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 4th using only a LEADOFF double as their only extra base hit. "Singles will kill you".
