*** Somehow this did not post for me Wednesday sorry fellas...

And anotha one... Another week of competitive and tough games out of the brutally tough B North division... the word of the week DEFENSE!

Game 1: not so much though as Yankee Clippers forfeit to Dark Horse


Game 2: Dark Horse v Ballz Deep

Dark Horse gets in the scoring column first as an error and two singles plate one in the first. They would follow up with another two runs in the 4th on singles and a run in the 5th off a Zach Adams double. They would cap their scoring on the day in the 6th as Paul Ferruzzi smoked a two RBI triple and scored one batter later on a sac fly. Ballz Deep has a tougher time getting the offense going in this defensive struggle as they plated two in the first on singles and 3 in the 6th inning highlighted by a Matt Wass double.

Final score: DH 7 - BD 5


Game 3: Amber Inn v Phinnies

After scoring a run in the 3rd on singles, Amber Inn cashed in with two more in the 4th on a John Fine two bagger. The double party continued in the 5th as Corey Carpenter smoked a leadoff hit and scored two batters later. Putting a bow on Amber Inns scoring, they plate 3 runs in the top of the 7th highlighted by a bunch of singles and another fine Fine double. Phinnies hammered home 4 in the bottom of the first as singles and a rare Jarrett Kerns homer did the damage. Young padwan Kerns smacked another double scoring two for the Phins in the 4th. Down a run in the bottom of the 7th they would find a way to push across two runs via singles and fielders choices to pull out a dramatic win!

Final score: Phinnies 8 - Amber Inn 7


Game 4: Misfits v Amber Inn

The misfits plate 3 in the top of the first on six singles batting around but leaving the bases full. They would plate two more in the 4th as Zach “you gotta get up to get” Downs smashed a double and scored. They would continue to hammer away in the final two frames as Walt Zolna destroyed a solo homer in the 6th and Chris Quinn cranked an RBI double and scored in the 7th. Amber Inn attempted a monster rally in the 7th inning as they were down 8 in this one as they smack 8 singles playing 5 runs. Unfortunately they ran out of innings because this one was set up to have a crazy finish.
