Game 1: Vertex vs. Silverbacks

Jim Hahn rips a two run double for Vertex as four runs cross the plate in the top of the first. Matt Schaub blasts a three run homer for Vertex in the top of the second as five runs cross the plate. A double by Carlos Gonzalez helps the Silverbacks get on the board with two runs in the bottom of the third. Matt Schaub launches a solo homer for Vertex in the top of the fourth. Ari Silverstein hits his own solo homer for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fourth. Five runs come in for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fifth with an RBI double by Jamal Covington. Matt Schaub jacks his third homer of the game, another three runs shot, for Vertex in the top of the sixth. The Silverbacks rally in a big way in the bottom of the seventh, scoring seven runs with an Ari Silverstein three run homer. Shawn Rush drives in the winning run with a single. The Silverbacks walk it off against Vertex, 16-15.

Game 2: Cifelli’s Sunoco vs. Pigeon Boyz

CS scores two runs in the top of the first. Mike Bitterlich jacks a three run homer for PB in the bottom of the first. PB bats around in the bottom of the second to put up four runs with a two run double by James Rundanz. Six runs cross the plate for CS in the top of the third on singles, and an RBI triple by Ian Cuozzo. PB bats around twice in the bottom of the fourth to score THIRTEEN runs on homers by Brandon Birkhead, James Rundanz, and two by Mike Bitterlich. CS rallies for three runs in the top of the sixth. PB gets five runs in the bottom of the sixth with a two run double by Brandon Birkhead. Pigeon Boyz beat down Cifelli’s Sunoco, 25-11.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Pigeon Boyz

PB bats around in the bottom of the first to get five runs on homers by Mike Bitterlich, Shane Hanna, and KC Ingram. DC smokes a two run double for DC in the top of the second as three runs come in. PB picks up four runs on singles in the bottom of the second. PB pushes four runs across in the bottom of the fifth with a double by Nick Mancini, and a Brandon Birkhead two run homer. DC plates four runs in the top of the sixth thanks to back to back triples by Sean P and Jimmy Craig. The Pigeon Boyz take care of the Doom Cats, 18-8.

Game 1: Foul Balls vs. Sticky Bandits

Arik Fenton smokes an RBI double for FB in the top of the first. SB answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on singles. FB plates three runs in the top of the third thanks to a Ryan McAvey double. SB bats around in the bottom of the third to pick up three runs on walks, and a Brian Mish double. A leadoff triple by Casey Condron nets two runs in the top of the fourth. Damon Hart rips a run scoring double for SB in the bottom of the sixth. Arik Fenton jacks a three run homer for FB in the top of the seventh. Foul Balls ties up Sticky Bandits, 11-11.

Game 2: Hitmen vs. Foul Balls

Jimmy Beaumeister ropes an RBI double for the Hitmen in the top of the first. FB answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. The Hitmen bats around in the top of the third to plate seven runs thanks to doubles by Jimmy Beaumeister, Chris Cruz, and Dave Anderson, and a Dennis D’Angelo two run homer. FB picks up five runs in the bottom of the third on singles, and an RBI double by Alex Larosa. Singles lead to four runs for FB in the bottom of the sixth. Nick Lang and Pat Feliciani blast back to back homers for the Hitmen in the top of the seventh. The Hitmen squeak by Foul Balls, 12-11.

Game 3: Sons of Pitches vs. Maggios

Maggios takes the lead with four runs in the bottom of the first on singles, and an RBI double by Andrew Fuller. Tyler Fornwatt rips a two run double for Maggios in the bottom of the third. A leadoff triple by Dylan Coughlin helps SOP get on the board with a run in the top of the fourth. Maggios scores four runs in the bottom of the fifth with a run scoring triple by Austin Sher. Kevin Walker, Brendan McCoy, and Drake Sprouse all hit homers for Maggios in the bottom of the sixth. Maggios destroys Sons of Pitches, 16-1.

Game 4: Spartans vs. Sons of Pitches

SOP scores four runs in the bottom of the first with doubles by Dylan Coughlin and Dylan Brooks. The Spartans get on the board in the top of the fourth with a run. Mike Zahradnick blasts a solo homer for the Spartans in the top of the fifth. SOP plates two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. The Spartans bat around in the top of the sixth to pick up five runs with a two run double by Jay Cowan. SOP bats around in the bottom of the sixth to pick up eight runs on walks, singles, and a grand slam by Josh Keszyzk. The Spartans put up three runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a double by Antonio Almeida, and a Mike Jawrigue triple. Sons of Pitches beat the Spartans, 15-10.
