Philly Phinest comes out swinging in the first two innings grabbing two runs off RBI singles from Valentino Mendez and Chris Rocks. Neither team scores in the third as Bulldogs have now been shut down for three innings at the plate as the pitcher for Phinest is rolling. That comes to a half real quick in the fourth when Bulldogs finally get on the board. Chuck Frazier netted Bulldogs two runs off a two run double and they get one more from a hit and error. We get all the way to the seventh before we see some action again as Bulldogs, holding a two-run lead, erupt for four more runs. CC Witt, Drew Fitzherbert and John Hogan all had RBI singles in the inning as well as a sac fly from Dave Robbins. Philly looks to start up and have better success than they did in their first game and start off with three early runs. Ray Rocks starts it with a two run double and Tony grabs one on an RBI single. Dirt Stars respond in a big way with seven runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Nick Ciocio had the big shot with a bases clearing triple in the inning. Dirst Stars get back at it with six more runs in the second to break open a 13-3 lead after two innings. Gary Brooks had a clutch two run single in the inning for Dirt Stars. The entire team can be highlighted with timely hits and driving in runs, but the spot light is on Dan Owens who across three at bats had an RBI double and a two run triple. Miles Davis also had three runs driven in on singles across three at bats. Birdgang did get some offense of their own in the second grabbing three runs on a three run bomb from Vinny Juliano. Dirt Stars hold a 16-4 lead after three innings. Jason McLaguhlin comes up big for Bird Gang with homers in the fourth and sixth inning. The first was a solo bomb and the second was a two run shot.
