Game 1 - Maggios at Sticky Bandits
Maggios nabbed an early run in the top of the first, but then the Bandits took the lead 3-1 on a Tom Koelzer 3-run bomb.
Maggios fought back, retaking the lead 5-3 in the third on the back of Brandon McCoy’s 2-run dinger. They then piled on in the fourth thanks to a solo homer from Jared Katz and a 2-run triple from Erik Schwabb.
More insurance runs came in the fifth when Kevin Walker blasted a 3-run homer. In the bottom half, Colin Donohoe doubled and scored for the Bandits, making it an 11-4 game. But Maggios wasn’t done, as Mike Tersha doubled and his team scored 2 more runs.
The Sticky bandits failed to score in the bottom half, ending the game at 13-4.
Final Score: Maggios 13 Sticky Bandits 4
Player of the Game: Jared Katz went 3 for 4 plus a walk including a double, homerun, 3 Runs and an RBI.

Game 2 – Legends at Maggios
The Legends jumped out to an early 3-0 lead using a bunch of singles to do so, but Maggios tied it up in the bottom of the first via a 3-run bomb from Brandon McCoy
Legends too a one run lead in the third, but then Maggios took it back in the fourth thanks to Drake Spruce’s 2-run homer.
In the sixth, Mark McLaughlin doubled and Chris Cruz homered for Legends, knotting the game at 6. After a scoreless seventh, this one headed to extras.
The courtesy runner scored for Legends in the top half on Matt Yoskowitz’ sac fly. In the bottom half, Mike Tersha quickly tied it up with his RBI single. 4 batters later, with the bases loaded, Dan Weismuller provided the walk-off reach-on-error to end it.
Final Score: Maggios 8 Legends 7
Player of the Game: Drake Sprouse went 3 for 3 plus a walk including a homerun, 2 RBIs and a Run Scored.

Game 3 – Legends at Spartans
The Legends scored one in the top of the first before the Spartans plated 2 in the bottom half. That would be their last lead of the game, ad Matt Yoskowitz’ double oped the floodgates for the Legends in the second.
With a 3-2 lead in the third, 6 straight walks aet up Jimmy Beaumeister for a GRAND SLAM, extending the Legends lead to 10-2.
Mike Capell doubled, helping the Spartans to steal one back in the third and then Brian Kosik tripled and Mike Sauler doubled in the fourth, en route to 3 more Spartan runs.
Beaumeister homered again in the sixth, this time a 2-run shot, giving Legends the 13-6 lead.
Looking to come back, the Spartans got one run back in the sixth and then B2B2B singles helped them to score 2 more in the seventh, but it wasn’t enough.
Final Score: Legends 13 Spartans 9
Player of the Game: Jimmy Beaumeister went 4 for 6 with 2 homeruns, 7 RBIs and 2 Runs scored.

Game 4 – E’s Irish Pub at Spartans
E’s jumped out to an early 4-0 lead thanks to some singles, walks, and errors. Jay Cohan doubled, helping the Spartans to get on the board in the bottom half and then 4 Spartan singles in the second narrowed the deficit to 4-3.
Tom Montuydas tripled for E’s in the third, later scoring, before station-to-station baseball tacked on 3 more runs for the Spartans, giving them their first and only lead of the game, 6-5.
B2B2B doubles for E’s in the fourth plated 4 runs, retaking the lead 9-6.
The Spartans got two back in the fifth thanks to a bunch more singles, and then Bob Worthington doubled, helping E’s to steal those runs back in the seventh.
Down 11-8 with their backs against the wall, the Spartans tried, but failed, to catch up in the seventh.
Final Score: E’s Irish Pub 11 Spartans 8
Player of the Game: Tom Montuydas went 2 for 3 plus a walk including a double, triple, RBI, and 3 Runs Scored.
