Game 1: Silverbacks vs. Jamison Pourhouse

JP starts off hot, plating five runs with doubles by Bill Shallcross and Dave Dancer. The Silverbacks get on the board with three runs in the top of the third. A triple by Mike Koz leads to a run for JP in the bottom of the fourth. The Silverbacks pick up two more runs in the top of the sixth. JP scores another five runs in the bottom of the sixth on singles and a Brian Penecale double. Jamison Pourhouse takes the first game, 11-5.

Game 2: Jamison Pourhouse vs. Silverbacks

JP takes an early lead with a run in the top of the first. The Silverbacks answer back with six runs in the bottom of the first thanks to doubles by Carlos Gonzalez, Rob McKenna, and Ian C., and a Scott Castner two run homer. Steph Garrett smokes a run scoring double for JP in the top of the second. Doubles by Billy Cunningham, Mark Bernacki, and Mike Koz lead to four runs for JP in the top of the third. Singles get JP four runs in the top of the fifth. Rob McKenna smashes a three run homer for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the fifth. Billy Cunningham rips a run scoring double for JP in the top of the sixth. Jamison Pourhouse wins the second game, 14-11, and the fall title.

B South

Cedar Hill

Game 1: Hambinos vs. Randazzos

The Hambinos take the lead with two runs in the top of the first. The Hambinos bat around in the top of the second to score nine runs on errors, singles, and doubles by Spencer Slutsky and Joe Pizzola. Randazzos gets on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second, thanks to a double by Anthony Miller. Harry Steglich smokes a two run double for Randazzos in the bottom of the fifth. A double by Bob Gower nets the Hambinos a run in the top of the fifth. Randazzos rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Hambinos wins the first game, 13-9.

Game 2: Randazzos vs. Hambinos

Randazzos gets three runs in the top of the first with a double by Steve Goodman, and a Mike Howald triple. The Hambinos pick up a run in the bottom of the first on a leadoff triple by Nick Heller. Steve Goodman blasts a run scoring triple for Randazzos in the top of the second. Tony Stevens launches a two run triple for the Hambinos in the bottom of the fourth. Back to back doubles by Mike Howald and Paul Schenk lead to two runs for Randazzos in the top of the fifth. The Hambinos manage to pick up another three runs in the bottom of the fifth. A leadoff double by Paul Schenk helps Randazzos score a run in the top of the seventh. The Hambinos rally for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, as Ed Hainsworth rips the game winning double. The Hambinos win the secong game in walk off fashion, 10-9, and win the fall ship.
