Game 1: Silverbacks vs. Vertex

The Silverbacks score five runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by Ian Cuozzo and Ed O’Neill. Vertex gets on the board with three runs in the bottom of the second. The Silverbacks pick up two more runs in the top of the third. A leadoff double by Matt Schaub helps Vertex net a run in the bottom of the third. The Silverbacks bat around in the top of the sixth to plate five runs with doubles by Jamal Covington and Craig Richards. Sub Keith Keppley rips an RBI double for Vertex in the bottom of the sixth. Vertex rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Silverbacks double up on Vertex, 16-8.

Game 2: Doom Cats vs. Silverbacks

DC gets a run in the top of the first thanks to a triple by Zach Martin and a John Poore double. Richie Beck ropes a run scoring double for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the second. DC plates another run in the top of the fourth. The Silverbacks answer with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. DC adds two runs in the top of the sixth on singles. The Silvverbacks get by the Doom Cats, 6-4.

Game 3: Flex Nutrition vs. Pigeon Boyz

FN bats around in the top of the first to score five runs on walks and singles. PB answers with five runs on singles in the bottom of the first. Four runs cross the plate for FN in the top of the second thanks to triples by Brian Sassano, Jim Ulmer, and Kurt Hahn. Brrian Sassano smokes an RBI triple for FN in the top of the third. FN picks up two runs in the top of the fifth. PB plates a run in the bottom of the sixth. FN adds four runs in the top of the seventh on walks. Brandon Birkhead jacks a solo homer for PB in the bottom of the seventh. Flex Nutrition takes down the Pigeon Boyz, 17-8.

Game 1: Cifelli’s Sunoco vs. Sons of Pitches

Blake Hildebrandt jacks a two run homer for CS in the top of the third. SOP ties it with two runs in the bottom of the third on singles. CS rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. Cifelli’s Sunoco squeaks by Sons of Pitches in a barn burner, 3-2.

Game 2: Sticky Bandits vs. Sons of Pitches

Justin Houk and Tommy Boyd blast solo homers for SB in the top of the first. A leadoff triples by Adam B helps SOP get a run in the bottom of the first. Justin Houk rips a two run triple for SB in the top of the second. Back to back doubles by Brian Mish and TJ Cieri net SB three runs in the top of the third. SOP bats around in the bottom of the fourth to plate five runs thanks to a two run double by Matt Fromheiser. SB bats around in the top of the sixth to push six runs across with a three run homer by Nick Ryan. SOP rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh from a Joe Rogusa double. The Sticky Bandits beat Sons of Pitches, 14-9.

Game 3: Foul Balls vs. Pitches Be Crazy

FB plates three runs in the top of the first with a double by Arik Fenton. Pete Donnelly smokes an RBI triple for PBC in the bottom of the first. Arik Fenton rips a two run double for FB in the top of the third. PBC gets five runs in the bottom of the third with a two run homer by Joe Kidnt. FB puts up five runs in the top of the fifth thanks to a three run homer by Arik Fenton. PBC rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh courtesy of a run scoring triple by Joe Kindt. Foul Balls squeak by Pitches Be Crazy, 12-11.

Game 4: Misfits vs. Pitches Be Crazy

The Misfits take the early lead with two runs in the top of the first. Chris Herold smokes an RBI double for PBC in the bottom of the first. PBC bats around in the bottom of the second to put up FOURTEEN runs with three run homers by Kevin Carver and Bill Larkin. A double by Pete Corrigan helps the Misfits score three runs in the top of the third. The Misfits pick up three more runs in the top of the sixth. Pitches Be Crazy doubles up on the Misfits, 18-9.

Game 3: Maggios vs. Legends

Five runs cross the plate for Maggios in the top of the first with a two run homer by Jared Katz. Singles give Legends three runs in the bottom of the second. A double by Kevin Walker nets Maggios a run in the top of the fourth. Dave Anderson laces a two run double for Legends in the bottom of the fourth. Legends pick up four runs in the bottom of the fifth with an RBI double by Jim Beaumeister. Legends beats Maggios, 10-9.

Game 4: Maggios vs. Spartans

Jeff Rodriguez blasts a solo homer for the Spartans in the bottom of the first. Donny Y blasts a run scoring triple for Maggios in the top of the second. Erki S smokes a two run double for Maggios in the top of the third. Donny Y and Tyler F jack homers for Maggios in the top of the fourth. Three runs cross the plate for the Spartans in the bottom of the fifth. Jay Cohen launches a solo homer for the Spartans in the bottom of the sixth. Maggios rallies for two runs in the top of the seventh courtesy of a two run double by Tyler F. Antonio Amenda jacks a grand slam for the Spartans in the bottom of the seventh. Maggios downs the Spartans, 15-9.
