Game #1 - Dirty Dozen vs. Palz

Dirty Dozen gets one run off a fielder’s choice from Colin Tosti giving them the early lead. Palz respond with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning. Dirty Dozen is the first to take off in this one having a big third inning and pushing nine runs across. Sean Taylor started the home run party with a two run smash. Then, later in the inning Mike Ivers and Ross Anderson smash three run homers of their own. Palz respond with RBI triples from Bob Jacob and Alex Freeman to try and stay in this one. Dirty Dozen grab three more runs in the fifth, grabbing two on a Roc Akers double pushing their lead to 13-7. They then open the game up big time with an eight run sixth. Kevin Harrigan smashed a Grand Slam in the inning to help deliver the blow. Palz could never recover and will fall in this one. Dirty Dozen wins 22-14.

Game #2 – Palz vs. Hambinos


Palz get going looking to forget their first game and get four runs right out of the gate. Alex Freeman started it with an RBI double, followed by RBI singles from Kyle Greener and Tim Reinboth. Hambinos get four runs of their own on a Pat Tobin two run single and Matt Schalek. Palz get back on the scoring train and push across an impressive eleven runs. Freeman and Pete Herbert go back to back to start the scoring and then later in the inning Freeman goes deep for the second time of the inning, a three run shot this time. Hambinos respond with a couple homers as well getting a three run shot from Matt Grover and solo from Bob Gouer. The Hambino bats would go cold from there. Palz continue to pour it on as they will cruise in this one. Palz win 20-11.

Game #3 – Dirt Stars vs. Mud Dogs

Doug Nalbandian starts the scoring in this one with two runs on a single. Mud Dogs get four runs of their own getting a Charlie Hooker RBI double and Brian Figueroa RBI double. Hooker was back at it again with a three-run bomb in the second inning. Dirt Stars erupt in the third inning as Mud Dogs fall apart. There were seven walks in the inning which helped lead to the break down. Shawn Mackley and Joe Tulino added two run singles in the inning as well, but the damage was done on walks and singles. Kevin McNamero ices the game with a two-run bomb as they take this game big. Dirt Stars win 27-14.

Game #4 – Philly’s Phinest vs. Amber Inn

Amber Inn strikes first getting a run on a Marc McKinney RBI single and John Hickman two run double. Bryon McMakin nets them another run on an RBI single. Amber Inn continues to roll with six more runs in the third. They got RBI singles from McMackin, John Graves and Carl Ervin as well as a two run single from Jeff Johnson. This gives Amber Inn a 10-1 lead after three innings of play. Philly’s Phinest get two runs back in the sixth on a Velantino Mendez two run double, but that is all they can muster in this one and fall. Amber Inn wins 10-3.
