Good Morning! Another week in the WILD WILD SBA B West Division

BirdGang (A) vs. Jackhammers (H)

BirdGang the league 1 seed started slow with only 1 run in the first three innings of the game. On the other hand Jackhammers got out the HAMMERS early, a Wardrop Triple led to 2 runs in the first and they batted around in the 2nd scoring 7 mostly off of singles but BIG Z went YARD at a field without a fence, that ball must still be going! In the 3rd Jackhammers added 3 more on on 1 HIT, a bunch of walks and a few errors. 12-1 after 3 innings but the BIRDGANG isnt the 1 seed for nothing, PATIENCE at the plate put them back in the game, 6 walks in the 4th inning than the McLaughlin brothers were like DRAKE and went BACK TO BACK to drop a 9 spot in the 4th! In the 5th the teams traded runs BirdGang got theirs on back to back extra base hits by Juliano and Matteo while Jackhammers got theirs with small ball. 13-11 headed to the 7th the LAW FIRM of Rothenberger and Rothenberger both single, Juliano singles, Matteo knocks in 1 to tie it on a sac fly and Cilberto singles in the go ahead run! 14-13 headed to the bottom of the 7th. The meat of the order up for the Hammers, Finn starts with a walk, but in the case of most big time players when the game is on the line, 2 fly outs to left end this game. BirdGang completes the comeback.

BirdGang (A) vs. HG Coal Fired Pizza (H)

BirdGang was already awake and stretched their bird legs early as they bat around in the top of the first and score 11 runs! Huber doubled, Big Jim doubled and last games hero Anthony Cilberto doubled coupled with a ton of singles. HG would go 1,2,3... HG scored a few in the 2nd as Marcelline doubled in Parker, then scored on a Kennedy single. 12-2 after 2 innings. Jay Stein tripled to get HG another run in the 3rd and Brendan Parker Tripled to start a rally in the 4th that was capped by a Neil Herbert Triple! HG clawing back to make it a 11-7 game. Down 13-7 in the 7th HG needed a rally to keep the season alive and the STEINS started it, Colin singled and Jay hit a BAZOOKA into the trees at Cedar Hill, single by Messina and Knapp to get HG's BASH BROTHERS up but HG could only put up 3 runs.

WildFire (A) vs Sons of Pitches (H)

Defensive struggles in softball dont happen too often but this was the case between these two squads. When your 5,6,7 shows up late and scores the only 3 runs of the game in the top of the 2nd for your team you're probably not going to win. In a game where you don't hit 1 extra base hit, you're probably not going to win however... Wild Fire made that happen, allowing only 6 hits the entire game, 3 by Dylan Brooks who was a man possessed with a 1B, 2B and 3B scoring the ONLY run for Sons of Pitches. WildFire wins a snooze fest

Hatricks (A) vs MaGerks (H)

Kris Cassel starts the game for Hatricks with a BOMB deep into the Sunday afternoon mist helping to lead to a 4 run first for Hatricks. MaGerks the other 1 seed in the division responds with 4 of their own led by the CAPTAIN JIM MOLLOY crushing a double off the YUM YUM's sign (probably not, I'm just hungry). Hatricks didn't score the next 2 innings as MaGerks took the lead off of an error and a few singles 6-4 MaGerks after 3. Kris Cassel trying to put Hatricks on his back with a 2 out 3 run bomb in the 4th to take a 7-6 lead. MaGerks would take the lead back with 2 in the bottom of the 4th as KORPP doubles off the fence! 8-7 MaGerks. Basil (Too many letters) solos in the 6th to tie the game for Hatricks but as they have done all season MaGerks responds scoring 4 as Steve Walker Texas Ranger doubles in a few and MaGerks wins this one.
