Game #1 – Amber Inn vs. Dirty Dozen

Amber Inn gets right to work pushing across five runs. John Fine smashed a two run homer while Carl Ervin knocked in one with an RBI single. Amber Inn gets two more runs with another Carl Ervin single in the second taking a commanding seven run lead before Dirty Dozen gets a run across. Dirty Dozen gets two runs back with a Alex Amador two run bomb. Dirty Dozen has a big third inning with a big RBI triple from Roc Akers and grand slam from James McHale. Amber Inn grabs the lead back in the fourth getting three runs on a Marc McKinney three run bomb. Home Runs continue to pace the game for both teams. Russell Richards tie this game up with a two run double in the fourth as we are deadlocked at 10. Amber Inn break this game open in the fifth grabbing nine runs. Dave Gotshal had a two run double and Sean Pena knocked in two on a single. This ends up being enough as they hold on and win this one. Amber Inn wins 19-13.

Game #2 – Dirty Dozen vs. Philly’s Phinest

Constantine Georgiadis get Dirty Dozen on the board first with a RBI single. Alex Amador adds a solo shot in the second to give them a 2-1 lead. The game is tied after three innings after Mike Rocks Jr. and Tony Summers both deliver RBI singles for Philly’s Phinest. Dirty Dozen then take another lead in the fifth with a two run double from Russell Richards. Roc Akers help to put this game away late as he smashes a three run bomb giving Dirty Dozen a three run lead and they never look back. Dirty Dozen win a low scoring game. Dirty Dozen win 9-6.

Game #3 – SCLSU Mud Dogs vs. Hambinos

Charlie Hooker gets this one started with a two run bomb and an early lead, but Hambinos respond right away with three runs of their own on a Matt Good RBI single and some errors. Bill Peters also added an RBI single in the inning as well. Mud Dogs then come back and take a brief lead with a five run second highlighted by a Matt Greever two run double. Hambinos add two more runs in the second with a Bradd Gower RBI double, but still trail by two. Hambinos grab the lead back in the third after pushing across six runs, three off the bat of a Nick Heller three-run bomb. Hambinos never look back and take this one in the end. Hambinos win 14-8.

Nick Heller (Hambinos) – 3/5, HR, 4 RBI’s



Game #4 – Palz Tap House vs. Dirt Stars

Palz strike first with four runs right out of the gate. Leo Pagan grabs two runs in the inning with a two run single. They are back at work in the second with a five run inning, highlighted by a Ryan Nakonieczny two run single, Alex Freeman single and Bob Jacob single. Dirt Starts finally get rolling in the third inning as they push seven runs across. Dan Curran and Joe Tulino both had RBI doubles and Doug Nalbondian, John Boyle and Nick Cuccia had RBI singles. Still trailing by two, Dirt Stars look to get rolling late in the game. They finally grab the lead in the sixth, as they push across three runs thanks to a couple of hits and some errors. In the end, Dirt Stars end up stealing this game. Dirt Stars win 13-11.
