Game 1: Pigeon Boyz vs. Dirty Dozen

A leadoff double by Tom Ivers helps PB get two runs in the top of the first. DD answers with a run in the bottom of the first. PB bats around in the top of the second to plate FOURTEEN runs with a three run homer by Brandon Birkhead. Three runs come in for DD in the bottom of the third thanks to a Sean Taylor triple, and a solo homer by Alex Freeman. Brandon Birkhead blasts another three run homer for PB in the top of the fourth. Doubles by Roc Akers and Anthony Crawford lead to three runs for DD in the bottom of the fourth. PB adds three runs on singles in the top of the sixth. Pigeon Boyz take down Dirty Dozen, 23-7.

Game 2: The Swingers vs. Silverbacks

Jamal Covington smashes a two run homer for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the first. TS gets on the board in the top of the third with four runs on singles, and an RBI double by Matt Bachmann. DJ Ellars rips an RBI double for the Silverbacks in the bottom of the third. The Silverbacks pick up six runs in the bottom of the fourth with a two run double by Brandon Barey. Back to back triples by Dion Greene and Brian Hoover net TS two runs in the top of the fifth. TS plates two more runs in the top of the sixth. The Silverbacks bat around in the bottom of the sixth to push nine runs across on walks and a two run double by JJ Wunderlich. The Silverbacks top The Swingers, 21-11.

Game 3: Doom Cats vs. Vertex

DC gets three runs on singles in the top of the first. A leadoff double by Sean Nonemacher nets Vertex a run in the bottom of the first. A double by Tom Koelzer helps DC plate four runs in the top of the third. DC scores six runs in the top of the fourth thanks to back to back triples by Troy Wasserman and Jose Rodriguez, and a Jon Poore two run homer. Tom Koelzer and Jose Rodriguez jack solo homers for DC in the top of the sixth. The Doom Cats make quick work of Vertex, 17-1.

Game 4: Bird Gang vs. Vertex

James McLaughlin blasts a two run homer for BG in the top of the first. Pat K launches a two run homer for Vertex in the bottom of the first. Vertex bats around in the bottom of the second to plate TWELVE runs on singles, and a three run homer by Sean Nonemacher. Jason McLaughlin rips a solo homer for BG in the top of the third. Singles get BG three runs in the top of the fourth. RBI doubles by Joey Pittmann and Mark Rothenberger help BG get four runs in the top of the fifth. A triple by Dan C nets Vertex a run in the bottom of the fifth. Pat K jacks a three run homer for Vertex in the bottom of the sixth. Vertex takes down Bird Gang, 24-11.

Hatfield

Game 1: Mud Dogs vs. Jackhammers

The Jackhammers take the early lead with a run in the bottom of the second. The Jackhammers add another run in the bottom of the third. MD gets on the board in the top of the fourth with three runs thanks to a leadoff double by Sam Matos. A leadoff triple by Brian Figueora nets MD a run in the top of the fifth. The Jackhammers bat around in the bottom of the sixth to get ELEVEN runs on singles. The Jackhammers top Mud Dogs, 16-4.

Game 2: Spartans vs. Jackhammers

Back to back doubles by Brian Kosik and Jay Cowan net the Spatans five runs in the top of the first. The Jackhammers answer in the bottom of the first with three runs thanks to a double by Tom Finn. The Jackhammers put up five runs in the bottom of the second with triples by Rob Wardrop and Evan G. The Spartans plate a run in the top of the third. The Spartans rally for a run in the top of the seventh. The Jackhammers squeak by the Spartans, 9-8.

Game 3: Spartans vs. Hitmen

The Spaartans get a run in the top of the first. Pat Feliciani smokes an RBI double for the Hitmen in the bottom of the first. The Hitmen bat around in the bottom of the third to score four runs thanks to doubles by Pat Feliciani and Kevin Cruz. Chris Cruz smokes a two run double for the Hitmen in the bottom of the fourth. The Spartans plate three more runs in the top of the fourth on singles. Pat Feliciani rips a three run double for the Hitmen as four runs cross the plate in the bottom of the fifth. Walks and a two run triple by Nick Lang help the Hitmen get four runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Hitmen beat down the Spartans, 16-4.

Game 4: Harrigans vs. Mafia Madmen

Brian Connell smashes an RBI triple for Harrigans in the top of the second. MM gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. Harrigans bats around in the top of the third to put up four runs on singles. Harrigans plates four more runs in the top of the fourth thanks to an RBI double by John Procopio, and a Brian O’Donnell triple. MM gets another run in the bottom of the fourth. A leadoff triple by John Procopio helps Harrigan put up three runs in the top of the sixth. MM rallies for a run in the bottom of the sixth, courtesy of a leadoff triple by Andrew Snyder. Harrigan’s ties Mafia Madmen, 15-15.
