Game 2: Philly’s Phinest vs. Yankee Clippers
Philly’s Phinest gets on the board first in the top of the opening frame, drawing a couple walks and getting an RBI double from Brian Constantine to plate three. They tack on another pair in the top of the second as Dominic Rocks roped a two run double. Yankee Clippers get their firs trunks on the scoreboard, totalling four runs on a single, three free passes, and a sac fly. Nick Wasekanes launched a two run dinger in the bottom of the third as Yakee Clippers batted around to take the lead with a six run frame. In the bottom of the fourth, they tack two more on thanks to doubles from Nick Wasekanes and Rich Brazukas. Philly’s Phinest started to claw their way back in the top of the fifth, drawing a walk, poking four singles, and using a sacrifice fly to score three. In the top of the sixth, three singles, two walks, and doubles off the bats of Mike Rocks Jr. and Dave Shannon gave Philly’s Phinest a one run lead. After being held silent for a couple frames, Yankee Clippers got a leadoff single from Andre O’Donnell and his teammates managed to bring him in, but this hard-fought game would end in a 13-13 tie.

Man of the Match: Brian Constantine (4-4, 2-2B, 2 RBI)

Game 3: Sunday Scaries vs. Yankee Clippers
A walk and a sac fly got Sunday Scaries on the board with a run in the top of the first. In the bottom of the frame, Yankee Clippers matched them thanks to Nick Wasekanes roping an RBI triple. Sunday Scaries utilized a pair of sac flies to take the lead with two runs in the top of the third. In the bottom of the fourth, Yankee Clippers batted around on five singles and back-to-back-to-back doubles from Nick Wasekanes, Mark Kennedy, and Lonnie Snyder to score eight runs. In the top of the fifth, Sunday Scaries poke five singles to total three runs. Yankee Clippers plated a run in the bottom of the frame on a sac fly. In the top of the seventh, Colin Kelly led off with a double and scored but Sunday Scaries would fail to score any more runs. Yankee Clippers defeated Sunday Scaries 10-7.

Man of the Match: Lonnie Snyder (2-3, R, 2-2B, 3 RBI)

Game 1: Dirt Stars vs. Dave & Confused
Dave & Confused batted around in the top of the opening frame, walking four times, singling five times, and getting a bases-clearing triple from Sean Pena to tally eight runs. Joe Carpino’s two run bomb in the bottom of the first helped Dirt Stars score five runs in the top of the first. In the top of the second, Jeff Johnson knocked in a pair on a double and Kevin Noone drove two in on a sac fly as Dave & Confused plated five. In the bottom of the frame, Dirt Stars batted around themselves to score nine runs to take a one run lead highlighted by doubles from Joe Carpino and Charlie Hooker, and a two run triple from Matt Greever. In the third inning, John Fine drove in a pair on a base knock for Dave & Confused while Dirt Stars got a run on a sac fly as the third inning ended with the teams knotted at 15 runs apiece. Four walks and two base hits occurred for Dave & Confused in the top of the fifth before Jeff Johnson smacked a two run double to help plate five. The next inning, Marc McKinney and John Graves each drove in a run and Dave & Confused ended the turn with a seven run lead. Dirt Stars go on a tear in the bottom of the sixth, drawing three walks, poking a couple singles, getting doubles from Dan Curran and Shawn Mackley, a triple from John Boyle, and a three run big fly from Colton Hooker. This hard-fought, back and forth affair would end there with Dave & Confused defeating Dirt Stars 22-21.

Man of the Match: Marc McKinney (5-5, 4 R, 3 RBI)

Game 2: Dave & Confused vs. Sons of Pitches
Dave & Confused didn’t mess around in the top of the first as they batted around on three walks, seven singles, and doubles from John Graves and Kyle Penderzani to take a quick 11 run lead. In the top of the second, Dave Graves roped a double to help tack on another three runs for Dave & Confused. Sons of Pitches matched that three run output in the bottom of the frame with AJ Bagushinski smacking a two-out, two-run double. The top of the third was another big inning for Dave & Confused. They batted around and scored seven runs with Kyle Penderzani and John Graves smacking doubles. In the top of the fourth, they batted around for a third time on a walk, nine singles, and another John Graves two-bagger. Josh Keszczyk hit a Grand Slam in the bottom of the fourth to help Sons of Pitches plate six and stave off the mercy rule for another inning. In the bottom of the fifth, they tacked on two more but this game would end here. Dave & Confused smashed Sons of Pitches, winning 28-11.
