On the same day the Summer ended, Fall began, so we take a look at how the B North division will shape up in the fall. As always B North has become one of the most competitive divisions in SBA as the same teams have taken turns winning championships over the past few years.

Game 1: Bulldogs v Amber Inn

Amber Inn would open scoring in the fall season as Marc McKinney smoked an RBI double in the bottom of the 1st. A double from Dave Graves and a triple from McKinney in the 2nd inning would highlight a huge 5 run inning as they take a 6-0 lead. The Bulldogs finally got into the scoring column in the 3rd inning as they used doubles from John Hogan, Anthony DePaul, CC Witt and Shawn Dunn to push across 6 runs. They would continue to score in the 4th inning plating 3 more runs on singles and a Mike Suda triple. A Jeff Johnson double would get the Inn back on the scoreboard in the bottom half of the inning as they plate 1. Back to back doubles from Paul Burtis and Dave Nagle helped score 4 for the dogs in the top of the 5th. In the bottom of the 6th the Inn would battle their way back into the game as a double from Jeff Johnson, and triples from Phil Klatch and Corey Carlen plated 5 hard earned runs. Up a run heading into the top of the 7th

Game 2: Insurance Runs v Yankee Clippers

The Insurance Runs got their day started in the 2nd inning as back to back doubles by Colin Beatty and Joe Rowan helped plate 3 runs. They would add two runs to their total in the 3rd this time by way of a Matt Freedman double and three singles. Another Freedman double, combined with a Bill McElroy triple pushed across 3 huge runs in the 5th inning. The 6th inning saw back to back triples by Seth Mattleman and the sweet swinging Freedman plate 3 more runs for IR. They would cap their day in the top of the 7th with their 4th 3 run inning as Brandon Quinn cranked a 3 run homer.
Meanwhile the Yankee Clippers did plenty of hitting as well. They would plate 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st via four straight singles. In the 3rd inning Mike McDevitt led off with a double and scored two batters later on an Andrew Breiscraft single. The 5th inning would be a monster inning for the Clippers as they would score another four runs vis a two run Mike McDevitt homer, a double from Nick Wasekanes and another two run homer, this time from Andrew B. They would follow up this rally scoring another run in the 7th on singles.

Ballz Deep got the scoring started in the top of the 1st as singles and a sac fly would plate a run. Four straight singles would score two more for the boys in blue and orange in the 2nd, and they would follow that up with another two run inning in the 3rd, highlighted by a Curt Hensman double (it was at this point that Ballz Deep knew it was going to be an exciting season, because he must’ve hit it really far to get to 2nd). The 5th inning saw Ballz Deep plate another run as Gene Walczak doubled and scored on a sac fly. Rounding out the day, the Ballz would put up a monster 6 run 7th inning, led by doubles from Matt Herbein Walczak and Hensman.
