Lukens 1 – Game 1
Hattrick’s Sports Bar & Grill vs. Fightin O’s

Hattrick’s would take home a 7-0 victory in this one as the Fightin O’s would forfeit the matchup.

Lukens 1 – Game 2
The Bottom Pitches vs. Fightin O’s

The Fightin O’s would be at it again, with another forfeit. Bottom Pitches would win 7-0.

Lukens 1 – Game 3
Bottom Pitches vs. Team Hunt

Nothing like getting the season started with a good old fashion blowout! Unfortunately the new comers to the league from Bottom Pitches would be the recipient. They would face the veteran Team Hunt squad, who would start things off with 5 runs in the 1st, 2 more in the 2nd, 8 more in the 3rd and 9 more to finish the 4th and eventually the game. Doug Meehan would have a monster game with 7 RBIs in the game on 4 singles. Dan Teefy Sr would also have a nice day at the plate with 5 RBIs himself. Offence would pour out of this lineup. On the other side, Bottom Pitches would not score a run until the 2nd and then add 1 more to their total in the 4th. RBIs would come off the bats of Marco Diprate and Doug Mahan. Team Hunt would start their spring season off well with a final score of 24-2.

Cedar Hill – Game 1
Slap a Pitch vs. Jerzees

In the first game of the season at Cedar Hill, Slap a Pitch would take on the dominate Jerzees squad from last year. Slap a Pitch would get things going in the 2nd inning posting 2 runs from the bats of Donna Miller and Harrison Miller. They would go scoreless over the next 3 innings, but finally get on the board again with 4 runs in the 6th. They would add 1 more to their total in the 7th. Harrison Miller would have a nice day at the plate with 2 hits and 2 RBIs in the game. The Jerzees team would get off to a slow start as well, not scoring until the 3rd inning with 1 across the plate. They would add 3 runs in the 4th and then explode for 5 more in the 7th to take home the eventual victory. Eric Pincus would lead his team with 3 singles in the game and 2 runs batted in. Their combination of small ball and good defense would lead them to a final score and win of 10-7.

Cedar Hill – Game 2
Masterbatters vs. Slap a Pitch

In their 2nd game of the day, Slap a Pitch would take on the perennial Masterbatters squad, in a final rematch from a few sessions ago. Slap a Pitch would continue their late push from game 1, and score 3 runs in the 2nd, 7 more in the 3rd and 5 more throughout the rest of the game. Harrison Miller would have another great day and lead his team at the plate with 4 RBIs on 3 hits. Harrison would fall only a HR shy of the cycle. Production would come from everyone in their lineup, as it was a true team effort. The Masterbatters would look to get back into the game, scoring 1 in the 1st, 2 in the 3rd and then 7 more throughout. Bill Haponovich and Ryan Hartzell would lead their team with 3 RBIs a piece in the game on a combined 6 hits. Unfortunately it would not be enough to overtake Slap a Pitch and they would win with the final of 15-10.

Cedar Hill – Game 3
Cleanin’ Up vs. Masterbatters

The Masterbatters would look to respond from their game 1 loss, and would start by scoring 1 run in the 1st, 2 more in the 3rd and 5 more in the 4th inning. Kenny would have a strong game for the Masterbatters with a single in the 4th which would plate 2. Offence would be spread all over their lineup to lead to their total. Cleanin’ Up would have other plans for the game, and would score 3 quick runs in the 1st, 2 more in the 2nd, 9 runs in the 3rd and 9 more throughout the rest of the game. Offence again would come from all over the place in their lineup however; Chris Boyle would have a monster game with 6 RBIs on 4 singles. Tim Groves would also have a great day at the plate with 4 RBIs in the game on 4 hits. Cleanin’ Up would roll to an easy victory with a final score of 23-8.
