Hatfield – Game 1
Jerzees vs. Slap A Pitch

In the 1st game in Hatfield for the day, the undefeated Jerzees team would square off against Slap A Pitch who would be looking to end their perfect run. Slap a Pitch would get off to a slow start, but would get the bats going in the 3rd scoring 4 runs. Unfortunately, they would not score again until the 7th inning, plating 3 more runs. Harrison Miller would continue to hit the ball well with 2 singles and a HR in the game totally 4 RBIs as well. Kim Williams would also lead her team with a single and 2 RBIs throughout. Jerzees would also get off to the slow start, and only score 7 runs in the first 6 innings of the game. Luckily for them their bats would come alive in the 7th as they would score 10 runs and seal a victory in this one. Craig Rodenbough, Matt Burns and Mark Sudell would all have 3 RBIs in the game on 9 hits combined throughout the game. Jerzees would win fairly easily with a final of 17-7.

Hatfield – Game 2
Team Hunt vs. Bottom Pitches

Team Hunt would look to continue their impressive season so far, facing off with the Bottom Pitches who would still be searching for their second win. Unfortunately for the Bottom Pitches, their offence would continue to struggle, scoring no runs throughout the entire 5 innings. A few hits would come off the bats of Chris Ashley, Doug Mahoun and Charlie Crossdale but not much else. Team Hunt on the other hand would score early and often, plating 2 runs in the 1st, 13 in the 2nd and 1 more in the 5th. Individual stats were not able to be kept in this game; however Team Hunt would find production from all over their lineup. Keep an eye out for Team Hunt as the playoffs roll around as a dangerous team to have to face in the 1st or 2nd round. Team Hunt would win this one with a final score of 16-0.

Hatfield – Game 3
Cleanin’ Up vs. Masterbatters

What would end up being a fairly low scoring affair, the high powered Cleanin’ Up team would square off against another perennial high powered offence in the Masterbatters. Cleanin Up would get going early, scoring 2 runs in the 1st, 1 more in the 2nd and then only 3 more over the next 4 innings. Steve Blasek, Mike Stacey, Dave Collopy, Liz Palovick, and John Pearce would all have an RBI in the game for the squad. On the other side of the diamond, the Masterbatters would answer with 2 of their own runs in the 1st, but never score again in the contest. Bill Treichel and Dylan Hartzell would have the only 2 RBIs on the day for the Masterbatters. Cleanin’ Up would win with a final score of 6-4.

Hatfield – Game 4
Hattrick’s vs. Cleanin’ Up

In their 2nd game of the day, Cleanin’ Up would look to make it two wins in a row, but Hattrick’s would have other plans. They would get off to a slow start only scoring 1 run in the first 5 innings, but then explode for 5 in the 6th and 4 more in the 7th. CJ Barut would once again lead his team with 2 singles and a HR for 2 RBIs in the game. Offence would honestly come from up and down their lineup. Cleanin’ Up would be consistent throughout, but would only score 1 run in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd and 3 more in the 6th. Chris Boyle would lead the team with 2 singles and 2 RBIs in the game. Tim Groves, Steve Blasek, Liz Palovick, and John Pearce would all have RBIs in the game as well. Unfortunately, it would not be enough to over Hattrick’s and they would win with a final score of 10-7.
