CB West – Game 1
Bottom Pitches vs. Masterbatters

In game 1 for the day at CB West, the Bottom Pitches would look to get back on track from a miserable previous week but unfortunately would have to face off with the Masterbatters in order to do so. They would get off to a pretty good start scoring 2 quick runs in the 2nd inning, but unfortunately would have their bats go ice cold for the remainder of the game and only score 1 run through the next 4 innings. Doug, Bob and Charlie would all have RBIs in the game for their team to lead the way. The Masterbatters would get their offence going early and often, scoring 10 runs in the 1st inning and then 15 more runs throughout the rest of the game, to obviously win the game handily. Dylon Hartzell would lead his team with 3 hits and 6 RBIs in the game. George Cressman would have a nice game as well with a single, double and HR for 4 RBIs in the game. The Masterbatters would blow out the Bottom Pitches, with a final score of 25-3.

Hatfield – Game 1
Hattrick’s Sports Bar vs. Team Hunt

In a game that would matter for both teams from a playoff positioning standpoint, Hattrick’s would take on Team Hunt in the first game at Hatfield for the day. Hattrick’s would score in nearly every inning of the game, posting 1 in the 1st, 1 in the 2nd, 3 in the 3rd, and 7 more throughout the rest of the game. Matt Friend would lead the way with 4 RBIs on a single, double and HR. Chris Davidson would also have a nice day at the plate with a bases clearing double for 3 RBIs in the game. Team Hunt would look to respond, with 4 runs in the 1st but unfortunately score nothing else throughout the remainder of the game. Bob Louderback and Jill Beck would have the only 2 RBIs in the game for their team to lead the way. They would also each had 3 hits in the game which would account for most of the offence for their team combined. Hattrick’s would win easily, with a final of 14-4.

Hatfield – Game 2
Hattrick’s Sports Bar vs. Fightin’ O’s

The easiest win for Hattrick’s would come against the Fightin’ O’s, as they would forfeit another matchup in the Spring 2018 season.

Hatfield – Game 3
Fightin’ O’s vs. Jerzees

No surprise here, as the Fightin’ O’s would be a no show in their 2nd game of the game of the day, giving Jerzees the 7-0 win.

Hatfield – Game 4
Cleaning Up vs. Jerzees

Finally some softball to report on after 2 straight forfeits, as Cleaning Up would take on the well-rested and undefeated Jerzees squad. Cleaning Up would get rolling early, scoring 1 run in the 1st and then 4 more runs in the 3rd. After a terrible day at the plate by Jerzees, that would end up being enough to take home the win. Chris Boyle would lead his team at the plate with a single and double for 2 RBIs and Mike Stacey and Liz Palovick would each add another RBI to their team’s total. Again, the Jerzees team would never really get any offence going in a game they needed to win to remain undefeated. The only RBI in the game for Jerzees would come from the bat of Krystal Corrpeuter as she would single to bring home the run in the 2nd inning. Cleaning Up would end Jerzees streak winning this game with a final of 5-2.
