Cedar Hill – Spring Playoffs – Game 1
Hattrick’s Sports Bar and Grill vs. Cleaning Up
In the first game of the Spring B East playoffs, Hattrick’s would square off against Cleanin Up for the chance to play for the Championship. Hattrick’s would score early, plating 1 run in the 1st, 1 in the 2nd, and 3 more in the 3rd inning. They would go on to score 3 more runs throughout the rest of the game. Nearly all of the production would come from the bat of Matt Friend, who would have 3 hits and 6 RBIs in the game, to lead his team. CJ Barut and Anthony Posteri would each add an RBI in the game for their team as well. Cleaning Up would also start off strong, scoring 4 runs in the 1st; however go cold throughout most of the rest of the game. They would only score 1 more run throughout the rest of the game. Marianne Borrell would lead her team with 2 RBIs in the game on 3 singles. Hattrick’s would play great defense throughout which gets them the nod for next week’s Championship matchup. They would win with a final score of 8-5.

Cedar Hill – Spring Playoffs – Game 2
Jerzees vs. Slap a Pitch

In the 2nd game of the playoffs for the B East Division, Jerzees would face Slap a Pitch for the right to play Hattrick’s in the finals. Jerzees couldn’t have gotten off to a better start, scoring 8 runs in the 1st inning. They would score 1 run in the 4th and 4 more to seal the deal in the 6th. Offence would come from all over their lineup, but Matt Burns would lead the way, with 3 RBIs on the day. Eric Pincus, Chelsey Detweiler, Mark Sudell, and Krystal Carpenter would all each have 2 RBIs in the game for their team as well. Slap a Pitch would look to respond, scoring 4 runs in the 2nd, 1 run in the 3rd and 2 more throughout the rest of the day. Unfortunately it would not be enough to overcome the Jerzees team. Andrew Bravo would have a really nice day at the plate for Slap a Pitch, with 2 double and 3 RBIs in the game. Jerzees will be moving on to face Hattrick’s in the final!
