Game #1 – Wackers vs. Blue Dog

Blue Dog gets the scoring started in the bottom of the first after getting back to back singles from Jason Robinson and John Rodriguez going up one nothing early. They put up another one in the second getting an RBI single from Paul Hensler Neither eam scores in the third and fourth innings sending us to the fifth inning. Wackers finally get on the board in the fifth with five runs across thanks to a Mike Kelly three run homerun. Blue Dog respond in the bottom of the inning with eight runs of their own as they maintain a four run lead. Jason Robinson had a two run single in the inning as well as RBI hits from John Rodriguez, Donna Finlayson and Bob Kolecki. Wackers grab five more runs in the seventh starting with a Billy Brancato homerun and then back to back RBI double’s from Erick Szaoztak and Mike Kelly. Blue Dog needing two runs load the bases with back to back walks and a fielder’s choice and eventually win the game with a walk off RBI double from Jason Robinson. Blue Dog wins 12-11.

Game #2 – Gooey Batters vs. Wackers

Game#3 – The Maize vs. LA Pools

The Maize gets on the board first with an RBI double from Gary Kleinschmidt and an RBI hit from Deb Dondo. Pools come right back in the bottom of the inning getting back to back RBI single from Mike Cianfichi and Darcy Rabenda and later another RBI for my Brian Steeber. Pools get another two runs in the bottom of the third thanks two RBIs for Cianfichi and Steeber. Maize grab a couple runs across the fourth and fifth inning thanks to a two run homerun from Kleinschmidt as they try to fight back in the game. Pools push seven runs across and bat around in the fourth to really push this game open. Greg Lavin had a big hit with a three run bomb to really help. Maize can only grab a couple more runs late in the game as Pools continue to push runs across. In the end Pools end up winning this game pretty easily as they continue to hit well through the night grabbing another six runs. Pools win 20-7.
