Game #1 – Andy’s vs. Gooey Batters

Andy’s come out flying in this one grabbing five runs right out of the gate. Warren Grant and Adam Lightkep had RBI singles, Mike Koz had a sac fly and Ian Cuzzo smacked a two run double. Andy’s continue this in the second getting a bases clearing double from Grant and a two run double from Cuozzo to go along with RBI singles from Jason Pane, Danielle Buzin and Jay Cybok. It is all Andy’s in this one early. Gooey Batters continue to battle at the plate, but struggle as Andy’s continue to trickle along singles and take this one early. Andy’s win 20-0.

Game #2 Gooey Batters vs. Blue Dog

Gooey Batters are back at it trying to come out fast in this one. They grab an early run in the first after getting back to back RBI singles from Becky Hogan and Kyle Peters. Blue Dog quickly answers with four runs of their own in the bottom of the inning. Emily Kline had a big two run double in the inning. Jason Robinson help pace a three run inning for Blue Dog in the second as well as help from RBI singles from Bobby Citrino and Bill Roth. Blue Dog really blows this one open in the third as they bat around and score 11 runs making this an 18-1 game. Everyone got involved in the inning as they had six straight RBI singles to help the cause. More singles in the fourth help end this one early. Blue Dog wins 22-2.

Game #3 – Dug Out Demons vs. Roos

Demons jump out early grabbing a two run lead getting some baserunners from a Nick Mancini single and Kevin Roche double then score from a couple errors. Roos get five in the bottom of the inning thanks to an Anthony Crawford RBI double and back to back RBI singles from Steph Farrar and Doug Farrar. Demons tie the game up in the second thanks to some walks and a big error. Roos grab four runs in the third with a Doug Farrar two run double and Jess Behr two run bomb. Roos continue their hot hitting in the fourth as they grab another four runs. Steph Farrar continues to stay hot in this one as she knocks in another on a RBI single. Defense plays a big role down the stretch for both sides as this one ends tight. Anthony Crawford had a two run triple late to help seal this one as Roos take it late. This game is under protest at this time. Pending Result.

Game #4 – Dug Out Demon vs. LA Pools

Demons jump out early in this one as they grab five runs in the top of the first. Kevin Roche started the scoring and that was followed by an Evan Porter and Greg Thompson RBI double and RBI single respectfully. Ron Bannister also had an RBI single in the inning. LA Pools come back and get seven in the bottom of the inning thanks to a bunch of RBI singles. Mike Cianfichi, Joan Glass, Samantha Greismore, Larry Wagner and Rich Reinhimer had RBI singles in the inning. Glen Hipple also added an RBI double in the inning as well. Pools have another big inning in the second as they send six runners across this time. Greg Lavin had an RBI double in the inning and Mike Cianfichi had an RBI triple. Darcy Rabenda and Reinheimer also had RBI singles in the inning. Demons make their comeback in the fourth grabbing four runs. Roche had a bases clearing double in the inning as they still trail by three. They take the lead in the fifth with an eight run inning. Bill Shallcross, Ron Bannister and Phil Black all had RBI singles in the inning. Pools stall late and fall in this one. Demons win 19-17
