Game #1 – Gooey Batter’s vs. LA Pools

Game #2 – The Maize vs. Roos

Roos get the scoring started in this one grabbing four runs right out of the gate. Jake Blum started it with a RBI triple followed by a two run bomb from Anthony Crawford. Jess Behr added an RBI triple as well later in the inning. Maize responds with an RBI single and RBI double from Michelle Eggito and Bob Garges respectfully, but that is quickly answered by Roos getting a two run single from Crawford. Homers continue to pace Roos in this one as they get a three run bomb from Jeremy Villano. Ed Landau had RBI singles in the third and fourth innings to help give Roos an 11-2 lead after four. Roos put this game away late getting a two run bomb from Crawford and two run triple from Behr, blowing up late and winning easy. Roos win 17-2.

Game#3 – Wackers vs. New Age

Defensive takes over the beginning of the game as both teams flash the leather to lead to a 2-1 game after three innings of play. Wackers got there runs from a Joe Murray RBI single and Vanessa Jones hit. New Age got theirs from a Mark White RBI single. Wackers get going from the plate in the fourth inning sending nine batters to the plate and scoring six runs. Gene Walczak starts the scoring with a clutch RBI double, followed by an RBI triple from Bill Brancato and RBI single from Carmen Brancato. Mike Kelly added a two run single later in the inning. New Age responds in the bottom of the inning getting back to back bombs from Trevor Lane and Jim Kennedy. New Age grabs another run in the fourth from a Rich Peterson sac fly. Wackers scatter another six runs across the sixth and seventh inning and pull away late. Wackers win 14-4.
