Game #1 – Roos vs. The Maize

Roos come out swinging early and put up a whopping eights early. Anthony Crawford and Dave Cunningham started it with back to back RBI singles. That was followed by a Doug Farrar RBI double. Later in the inning, Selina Alicea and Ed Landau drive in runs with RBI singles of their own. Roos continue to swing the bat well and push for another five runs across in the second. D. Farrar continue to have a big impact in this game grabbing a three run bomb in the inning. Maize grab two runs of their own in the third from a couple of singles from Ryan Garges and Tom Eggitto. Roos continue to hit every inning and add another seven runs across the next couple of innings. Tom Montvdas added three of them on a single and a double. In the end, Roos end up winning big. Roos win 20-3.

Game #2 – New Age vs. Wackers

Wackers start in the scoring in the second game of the night from a William Brancato two run double and Erick Szostak RBI single. New Age comes back in the bottom of the second to take the lead with a four run inning. Rich Peterson started it with a sac fly followed by RBI singles from Brandon Bozek, Jim Kennedy and Trevor Lane. Melissa Barnes adds another RBI for New Age in the third as they take a two run lead. Wackers tie this up in the bottom of the inning getting a two run double from Gene Walczak. Both teams have a good fifth inning as New Age puts up three and Wackers put up five. Walczak was at it again with another two run double to help give Wackers the one run lead. Walczak then helps to pad that lead in the sixth, this time delivering a bases clearing triple to help pace a five run sixth. New Age goes cold and falls in this one. Wackers win 15-9

Game#3 – Bry-Lex vs. Wackers

The final game of the night gets started in a hurry as both teams come out fast with six runs. Bry Lex got RBI hits from Lowell Snyder, Jenna Bundy, Colin Donohoe and Eric Rosenblum. Blue Dog got there runs from a two run triple from Bobby Citrino and two run double from Bill Roth. Bill Roth stays hot at the plate and clears the bases with a three run single in the second to help pace a five run inning and keep Blue Dog on top in this one. Blue Dog adds another eight runs combined across the third and fourth innings thanks to RBI doubles from Dave McDonald and Ed Reynolds, a two run single from McDonald and a two run bomb from Mark McCouch Sr. Blue Dog would continue the hitting every inning and continue to get production from Reynolds with another two run single in the sixth as they would cruise in this one.
