Game #1 – Sons of Pitches vs. Roos

Pitches start this championship off with two runs in the top of the first. CJ Motts knocks them in with a two run double. Kevin Kink knocked in another one for Pitches with a RBI single. Roos struggle to get started in this one. This leads to another successful inning for Pitches as in the top of the third Pete Edger jacks a three run bomb to make this a 6-0 game. Roos finally respond and put up six runs in the third to tie this game up. Jake Blum started the scoring with an RBI single and one batter later, Anthony Crawford smashes a three run homer. Later in the inning, Steph Farrar and Doug Farrar hit back to back RBI triples. Roos continue this in the fifth and take the lead with three runs from RBI hits from Jeremy V and Dave C. Pitches try to get back in the game in the last inning to steal this game, but can only manage two more runs and lose this one by one run. Roos win 9-8.

Game #2 – Roos vs. Sons of Pitches

Pitches jump out early in this one again grabbing a quick six runs in the top of the first. P. Edgar had an RBI double, Jon Motts had a two run single and Lauren D had an RBI single in the inning. Doug Farrar gets one back in the second with an RBI double of his own. Pitches continue to hit well and carry that into the third where they add another six runs. Carl M had a two run triple and Chris Edgar had an RBI double to push their lead to 12-1. Chris Edgar smashes another hit in the fifth, this time a two run bomb. Jon M also had a two run double. Roos fight back in the sixth inning as they bat around and really cut into the Pitches lead. Anthony Crawford had a solo homer in the inning and later in the inning Jess B smashes a Grand Slam. Later in the inning Crawford came to the plate and delivered a two run triple, leading to an eleven run inning and cutting the lead to three. Pitches put this game away in the bottom of the sixth as they add another two runs and hold them defensively in the seventh to send us to a Game 3.

Game #3 – Sons of Pitches vs. Roos

Game 3 starts off with a Pete E. RBI single and a 2-0 Pitches lead. Roos respond in the bottom of the inning with three runs. Crawford continue to hit well and hits an RBI single and a couple batters later Steph F hits a sac fly. A Jake B RBI single and Crawford sac fly nets them another two runs in the second as they take the lead. Back and forth we go in this one as Pitches now grab a couple of runs in the third. Chase E and Pete E had RBI singles. Pitches really start to blow this game open in the fifth as they bat around. CJ Motss and Carl Motts had back to back RBI walks which then set up a big bases clearing triple from Jon Motts. Pitches took the 14-8 lead after five runs. Crawford trys to get Roos back in this game as he hits an RBI double to get this to a 14-10 game. Jon G clears the bases with his own RBI triple in the seventh as this gives Pitches an eight run lead. Pitches hold done the seventh with their gloves and secure the game.
