Hatfield – Game 1

Roos vs Wackers

The Roos came out swinging plating 3 runs on singles and the Wackers plated 2 runs on singles, 3-2 Roos. In the 2nd the Roos plated another 3 runs, the big hits a double by Steph Farrar, triple by Tom Montvydas, the Wackers plated 1 on an Eddie Haddle triple and single, 6-3 Roos. In the 3rd the Roos added to their lead scoring 2 runs on errors and a couple of hits, 8-3 Roos. The bats were quiet in the 4th and the Wackers got back on the board in the 5th scoring 1 run on 3 singles, 8-4 Roos. In the 6th the Roos scored 2 runs on 5 hits including a double by Jake Blum, the Wackers rallied scoring 5 runs on 6 hits including doubles by Angelo Vitangonlo and Eddie Haddle 10-9 Roos. In the 7th the Roos scored on a couple of hits and the Wackers scored 2 on 3 hits including a double by Joe Murray and triple by Angela Vitromano, and the game ended in a tie 11-11.

Hatfield – Game 2

Maize vs Blue Dog Tavern

The Maize opened the game scoring 4 runs, the big hit a double by Gary Kleinschmidt, Blu Dog scored 3 runs, the big hit a 2 run Homer by Dave Gers, 4-3 Maize. In the 2nd Blue Dog took the lead scoring 5 runs on 7 hits, the big hits a double by Jason Robinson, a 2 run Homer by Dave Gers 8-4 Blue Dog. The bats were quiet in the 3rd. In the 4th Blue Dog batted around scoring 8 runs on 8 hits, the big hit a 3 run Hoer by Dave Gers, 16-4 Blue Dog. The Maize rallied in the 5th scoring 6 runs on 7 hits and Blue Dog again batted around and scored 9 runs to win this one 25-10.

Hatfield – Game 3

Sons of Pitches vs New Age

Sons of Pitches started the game scoring 1 run on 2 singles and a fielder’s choice, New Age scored 2 on 4 hits, the big hits a double by Alex Peterson and solo Homer by Cory Thomas, 2-1 New Age. In the 2nd the Sons of Pitches scored a run on a Danny Hinchcliff double and fielder’s choice plays, 2-2. There was no scoring in the 3rd. In the 4th the Sons of Pitches scored 2 runs on a Danny Hinchcliff 2 run Homer and took a 4-2 lead. In the 5th the Sons of Pitches scored another pair on a Kevin Fine 2 run Homer, and New Age scored 3 runs on a Cory Thomas 3 run Homer 6-5 Sons of Pitches. Then in the top of the 7th the Sons of Pitches had their big inning batting around and scoring 7 runs, the big hits doubles by Kaelyn Motts, Jon Motts, Danny Hinchcliff, and Homer by Carl Motts and the Sons of Pitches win this one 13-5.
