Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Pitches Be Trippin

Stephanie Farrar gets the game started with a solo shot to give the Knuckleheads a 1-0 lead. Ryan Goodman and Anthony Crawford hit an RBI double and RBI triple respectfully. Farrar gets back to it in the second with an RBI single. Jose Rodriguez gets going in the next couple of innings smashing two bombs, a solo home run and a three run shot. Pitches continue to struggle in this one as they are not able to net any runs across for the first five innings. Knuckleheads have no issues with this as Rodriguez was back at it in the sixth with another bomb, his third of the game. Addie Hachen and Bobby Hartzel also add RBI’s in the sixth to help the cause. Knuckleheads put the game away in the seventh after two more RBI’s from Rodriguez. Knuckleheads win 21-3.

Game #2 – Chapman vs. Pitches Be Trippin

Chapman gets moving in in this one with four runs right out of the gate. Josh Rice netted two runs on a two run double and Kayla Hill added another on a fielder’s choice. Pitches start off better than the last game and get those four runs back in the bottom of the inning. Conor Pierce blasted a three run bomb into the woods to start the scoring and Taylor Gallagher smacked a RBI single later in the inning. Pitches take the lead in the second inning with a Mikayla Gallagher RBI single. Chapman take the lead back in the third inning after netting four runs. Hill and Doug Moninghoff hit back to back RBI singles and Shawn Murphy smashes a two run single. Pitches get two back in the bottom of the inning thanks to a John Sprouss RBI triple. Back and forth we go as Pitches score a whooping eight runs in the bottom of the fourth. Matt Sprouss and M. Gallagher start the scoring with back to back RBI singles and a couple of batters later, Jimmy Gallagher got two more runs on a two run triple. Qvinn Jones also added a RBI single in the inning. Chapman ties this game up in the fifth with a solo home run from Moninghoff and two run single from Jessie Mancini. We head to the sixth with both teams locked in at 15. Sean Hill smashes a solo homer to give Chapman the one run lead. Pitches get that run back after a Conor Pierce triple and Gallagher fielders choice. The game would end there after six innings due to time limit. Chapman and Pitches tie 16-16.

Game #3 – Roos vs. Wackers

The final game of the night gets started with and explosive 11 run inning from Wackers in the bottom of the first. Jim Donahue starts it with an RBI single following by an Alex Freeman RBI triple and Alejandor Amador RBI double. Eden Harvest, Kyle Simone, and Angie Georgiadis all knock in runs with singles and Roc Akers knocks in one with an RBI double. Roos get going in the third after a Tom Montvydas two run double bringing this to an 11-3 game. No action occurs until the fifth when Roos get three more runs. Jeremy Villano starts it with a two run double and Chris Lansberry nets one on a single a batter later. Wackers get them back on a Freeman RBI triple and Amador sac fly. Wackers put this game away in the fifth with seven more runs as they will run away with this one. Wackers win 20-7.
