Game #1 – Bry-Lex vs. Rock ‘N’ Rebel

Both teams come out of the gate slow with no runs in the first. Rebel gets the first run in the bottom of the second with a two run double from Stefano Giuliani. Rebel gets going again in the second with three singles to load the bases from Bobby Citrino, Fran Flanagan and Ed Reynolds. Emily Kline than smacks a two run single bringing this to a 3-0 game. Erik Stalford and Giuliani also add RBI singles in the inning to make it a 5-0 lead after four innings of play. Bry-Lex get their first run in the sixth with a sac fly from Cody Miller. That is all they would be able to muster up in this one as Bry-Lex can’t manage any more runs. Rebel add two more runs in the sixth and win this game easy. Rebel wins 7-1.

Game #2 – Bry-Lex vs. The Maize

Bry-Lex look to get going earlier in their second game and net one run on a Nick Diapolo RBI double. Maize get that run back in the bottom of the inning with a Dan Vescovi RBI single. Neither team scores until third. Bry-Lex explode for five runs in the top of the third, started by a Shawn Pfleger three run bomb. Cody Miller gets into the action a couple batters later with a laser double off the fence to net another run for Bry-Lex. Katie Donohoe adds one more as Bry-Lex goes on top 6-1. The Maize answers in the bottom of the inning with four runs. Vescovi was at it again with an RBI double which then helped to set up a three run bomb from Gary Kleinschmidt. Bryce Bundy adds onto the Bry-Lex lead with a two run hit as Bry-Lex leads 9-5. Maize also gets three runs in the bottom of the inning thanks to RBI singles from Keith Bellinger and Bill Worthington. Bry-Lex tacks on one more run as they will hold onto this one late. Bry-Lex wins 10-8.

Game #3 – Pitches Be Trippin vs. Chapman

The last game of the night gets started with a three run inning from Pitches. Quinn Jones started it with an RBI single, followed by a run driven in from Ross Fuller. Chapman get on the board in the bottom of the second with a James Witkowski RBI single. The game really slows down as this game is dominated by defense. Quinn Jones was back at it again in the fifth with a two run single. Neither team would score for the rest of the game as Pitches will take this one. Pitches win 6-1.
