Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Carroll’s

Knuckleheads get rolling early in this one with a Ryan Goodman RBI single and Jose Rodriguez RBI triple. They get one more run on a John Kiefer fielders choice a couple of batters later as they take an early 4-0 lead. Carroll’s don’t answer until the bottom of second when they get one run on a Bryan Bart RBI single. Knuckleheads get back to work in the fourth with RBI singles from Jamie Burns and Goodman and a three run bomb from Brandon Birkhead. Carroll’s get a couple more runs in the sixth from back to back singles from Bart and Bob McClintock. Birkhead and Moe smash back to back solo shots to win this game easy. Knuckleheads win 12-5.

Game #2 – Dugout Demons vs. Roos

Demons come out of the gates swinging with a two run double from Charlie Hooker and sac fly from Jason Pane. Roos get one run back in the bottom of the inning from a Jeremy Villano RBI single. Keith Keppley and Cody Runner smacked back to back RBI singles to bring the Demons lead up to 5-1. Demons look to blow open the game in the third smashing across six runs. Charlie Hooker and Bill Shallcross both hit two run singles and Ben Razzi adds an RBI triple later in the inning. Demons continue to drive some runs in every inning as they look to have no problems in this one. Roos get three runs back in the bottom of the sixth, but they won’t be able to crawl back into this game at all. Demons win 16-4.

Game #3 – Dugout Demons vs. Wackers

Demons look to continue to their hot hitting and getting going in the first with three runs. Hooker, Shallcross and Greta Sheridan have RBI singles. Wackers respond back with a run on an Alex Amador fielder’s choice. Keppley drives in another run for Demons in the top of the first as we sit at 5-2 after two innings of play. Neither team scores in the third and fourth inning before Demons add another three runs in the fifth. Pane, Bannister and Razzi all had RBI singles to help them in the inning. Wackers respond in the fifth and sixth innings actually tying the game up scoring seven runs across the two innings. Singles and errors helped to pace the two innings. Demons take the lead back with a single from Razzi and a couple untimely errors as they lead 12-9 heading to the bottom of the seventh. Wackers get two runs across and have the tying and winning runs on base, but will fall short. Demons win 12-11.

Game #4 – Wackers vs. Sandlot Sluggers

Wackers look to avenge their prior game with a big four run inning in the top of the first. Mike Koz smacked a two run triple and Lissa T knocked in a run on a single. Sluggers really respond in the bottom of the inning with six runs of their own. Jarret Kerns started the scoring with an RBI double and Tom Koezler smacked a three run bomb a batter later. Axel then smashed a two run bomb of his own into the quarry woods. In what seems like a high scoring game, Wackers add a nother three runs in the top of the second, but is quickly answer by three runs from Sluggers in the bottom of the inning. Wackers take the lead in the third thanks to a couple singles and another RBI from Lissa T. Alex A smashes a two run homer in the fifth and Alex Freeman smashes an RBI triple in the inning as well. Wackers consistent innings help to build a lead. Wackers then explode in the seventh for seven runs, in big part thanks to a bases clearing triple from Kyle S. Sluggers get 14 runs in this one, but will fall big as Wackers had too much firepower. Wackers win 26-14.
