Game #1 – Rock-N-Rebel vs. Chapman

Rebel gets rolling with three runs off an Ed Reynolds and Emily Kline RBI single as well as a Sam Nagle RBI double. Rebel keep their scoring going in the third with four more runs. Emily Kline started it with another RBI single and a couple batters later Nagle hit another RBI hit as well. Paul Hensler later adds an RBI single. Chapman gets on the board with back to back RBI’s from Joe Casey and Josh Roce. Rebel break out for five more runs in the fourth from back to back RBI singles from Erik Stalford and Stefano Gioliani as well as a two run double from Ed Reynolds. Doug Moninghoff tries to get Chapman back in the game with a two run homer, but Chapman is having trouble staying in this one. Chapman grabs two more runs in the seventh, but it will not be enough and they will come up short in this one. Rebel wins 14-9.

Game #2 – Bry-Lex vs. Knuckleheads

Knuckleheads strike first with an RBI single from Brandon Birkhead as well as a RBI double from Jose Rodriguez as they take the earl 3-0 lead in this one. Bry-Lex tie the game up in the second after a Bryce Bundy RBI double, Carl Pateti RBI single and Megan Taylor RBI single. The lead is short lived as Knuckleheads put up five runs in large part thanks to a Jesse Faller grand slam. Home Runs pace the third for Bry-Lex as they will get two in total, a two run bomb from Bundy and a solo homer from Rich Jacalone. Bry-Lex takes the lead in the fourth after RBI singles from Jacalone, Shawn Pfleger, Bundy and Pateti. Knuckleheads get six runs back in the sixth after a two run single from Rodriguez, RBI single from Kiefer and Hatzel RBI double. Bry-Lex also put up three runs in the sixth as they hold a one run lead going into the seventh. Pfleger smacked a three run bomb in the inning. Both teams go down in order in the seventh as Bry-Lex will hold their one run lead and take this one. Bry-Lex wins 15-14.

Game #3 – The Maize vs. Knuckleheads

The Maize get rolling with a Dan Vescovi two run bomb right out of the gate. Knuckleheads look to get going a bit earlier this game to help make up for the last game. They do so and bat around. Ryan Goodman started them off with a two run bomb followed by a solo bomb a batter later. Bob Hartzel, John Schofield, Addie Hachen and Veronice Geyer at have RBI singles in the inning. Knuckleheads get a solo homer in the second from Jesse Faller as they continue to pace their lead with home runs. Jose Rodriguez also knocks one in on an RBI single. Michell Eggito and Davis Kane net Maize two more runs as they try to hang in on this one. Knuckleheads drive in eight more runs in the fourth as they really start to pull away in this one. John Kiefer cleared the bases in the inning and Jamie Burns added two RBI’s as well. Maize get a couple more runs later, but end up getting doubled up in this one. Knuckleheads win 18-9.
