Game #1 – Pitches Be Trippin vs. Knuckleheads

Knuckleheads get rolling right out of the gate with a Ryan Goodman RBI single and Brandon Birkhead three run bomb taking a 4-0 lead right out of the gate. Pitches get one run back in the second on a Conor Pierce solo bomb. Knuckleheads bat around in the third inning with ten more runs. Stephanie Farrar and Collin Radcliffe hit RBI doubles and Bobby Hartzel knocks in two on a two run single. Goodman and Jesse Faller go deep respectfully with a two run and three run homer in the outburst. Knuckleheads put this game away in the fourth with five more runs. Addie Hatchen and Ronnie Geyer come into the game late and hit RBI singles and Faller adds a RBI double as well. Knuckleheads win 19-3.

Player of the Game:
Jesse Faller (Knuckleheads) – 4/4, 2B, HR, 4 RBI’s



Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. Rock-N-Rebel

Carroll’s come out with two runs across the first couple of innings. Bryan Bart had a sac fly and Ray Patano smashed a solo homer. Rebel ties this game in the second with two runs of their own. Dave McDonald helped in the inning with an RBI single. Both teams score one in the third which leads us to the fourth. Mark McCouch gives Rebel a two run lead with a two run single. This was until the sixth inning when Carroll’s get four runs back. Bart and Patano both smash two run bombs which give Carroll’s the lead back at 7-5. Homers continue to play a big role here as again, Rebel takes the lead back, this time with a three run bomb off the bat of Erik Stalford. Rebel holds a one run lead heading into the seventh. Carroll’s get a two run bomb from Greg Lesher as they take a one run lead again putting the pressure back on Rebel. Rebel gets the winning run to the plate, but end up falling just short. Carroll’s win 9-8.

Ray Patano (Carroll’s) – 2/3, 2 HR’s, 3 RBI’s




Game #3 – Knuckleheads vs. Wackers

Knuckleheads get rolling again, picking up right where they left off. Goodman starts it with a RBI single followed by a Birkhead three run bomb, just like game 1. John Kiefer smashes a two run bomb later in the inning as they take an early 6-0 lead. Wackers cut that in half getting a two run single from Matt Bookheimer and RBI single from Lissa Tercha. Wackers tie the game up in the second after a Freeman two run double and Amador RBI double. Knuckleheads break open the game in the third with eight runs Bobby Hartzell, Jay Cybok and Jamie Burns all have RBI singles in the inning and Stephanie Farrar smashes a bases clearing double in the inning as they lead 15-7. Wackers don’t respond until the sixth getting two runs, one on a Freeman double. Wackers get one more run in the seventh, but Knuckleheads were too much in this one. Knuckleheads win 16-10.
