Game #1 – Bry-Lex vs. Sandlot Sluggers

Bry-Lex strikes first with three runs out of the gate. Bryce Bundy and Pat Donohoe need runs on an RBI single in the inning. Sluggers tie the game in the bottom of the inning with a Tom Koelzer RBI single and Alex Shapiro two run triple. Bry-Lex takes the lead again in the third inning on a fielder’s choice from Nick Diapolo. They increase their lead in the fourth on a two run single from Pat Donohoe. Sluggers get going in the bottom of the inning and tie this game up. Tom Koezler starts the scoring with a sac fly and Axel ties it with a two run bomb. Fast forward to the bottom of the seventh and the game still tied at 6-6. Axel gets on base with a single and Krysta walks this off with a hit of her own. Sluggers win in walkoff fashion. Sluggers win 7-6.

Player of the Game:

Game #2 – Dug Out Demons vs. Whole Lotta Motts

Demons come out first and get a two run double from Kevin Graham as they take a 2-0 lead out of the gate. Pat Kelley adds to the lead with a two run bomb in the top of the fourth as Demons take a 12-0 lead heading into the bottom of the fourth. Kaelyn Motts give Motts their first run on an RBI single making this a 12-1 game as they continue to struggle at the plate. Motts get two more runs in the sixth on an Evan Porter RBI double and Carl Motts sac fly. Unfortunately, this is where the scoring would end as Demons rolls in this one.

Game #3 – Carroll’s vs. Roos

Carroll’s grab two runs on a Kyle Gallagher RBI double and Bryan Bart RBI single which briefly gives them the lead before Roos steps up in the bottom of the inning and nets four. Tom Montvydas starts the scoring with an RBI triple and Jeremy Villano smashes a two run bomb a batter later. Both teams score in the third, but it is Roos who holds the advantage by one run. Carroll’s put up a five spot on Carroll’s in the fourth thanks to a two run double from Sarah Yoos, RBI double from Kyle Gallagher and RBI triple from Greg Lesher. Villano does his best effort to keep Roos in this one, smashing a three run bomb as they only trail by one. This is where Roos scoring would end though as they would go ice cold for the rest of the game.
