Blue Dog Tavern vs Son’s of Pitches

Blue Dog came out Barking scoring 3 runs on a 3 run Blast by Dave Geirs, and took a 3-0 lead in the 1st. In the 2nd Blue Dog scored 1 on an error and a couple of singles, the Son’s of Pitches got on the board on a 3 run Blast by Jon Motts, 4-3 Blue Dog. In the 3rd the Son’s of Pitches had a big inning scoring 6 runs on 6 hits and a Sac Fly, the big hit a double by Jill Beck, and the Son’s of Pitches take the lead 9-4. In the 4th the Son’s of Pitches added to their lead plating 4 runs, the big hits and 2 run Homer by Kevin Fink, and doubles by Danny Hinchcliff, CJ Motts, 13-4 Son’s of Pitches. There was no scoring in the 5th. In the 6th Blue Dog scored 1 run on a couple of hits, and the Son’s of Pitches had another big inning scoring 7 runs, the big hits a double by Jon Motts and Homer by Pete Edgar and the Son’s of Pitches win the 1st game of the Championship 20-5.

Son’s of Pitches vs Blue Dog Tavern

The Son’s of Pitches started the game with another big inning batting around and scoring 7 runs, the big hit a Grand Slam Homer by Pete Edgar, Blue Dog scored 3 on walks, singles and a Sac Fly, 7-3 Son’s of Pitches after the 1st inning. In the 3nd the Son’s of Pitches scored 5 runs, the big hit Pete Edgars 2nd Grand Slam Homer of the game, 12-3 Son’s of Pitches. In the 4th the Son’s of Pitches used the long ball to score 3 runs, on a 3 run Homer by CJ Motts, Blue Dog scored 1 run on a Dave Gers triple and a single, 15-4 Son’s of Pitches. In the 6th the Son’s of Pitches scored 2 on 3 hits and Blue Dog scored 3 on a Dave Gers 3 run Homer, 17-7 Son’s of Pitches, win the 2nd game of the Championship 17-7 and the Spring Monday Coed Championship!!!
