Game One: Team Horsham v. Mike’s York Street Bar & Grill

John Biondo scores 3 times on 2 hits and a walk and Matt McReynolds doubles twice, one leading two 2 rbi’s. Jim Broderick also registers two hits as Mike’s plate 7 for the game.

Team Horsham plates four in the first highlighted by Mike Harmon’s 2-run double; Mike then triples and scored in the 3rd. All locked at 7 in the final inning, Dan DeSartis began a walk-off rally with a single and then scoring on a crucial error. Horsham completed the walk-off, 8-7.

Game Two: Cale’s Pale Ales v. Pitches Be Crazy

Lead-off hitter for Cales had himself a good night. He started the game with a home run and followed up with 2 more hits while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Brennan Rudnick, 2-hole hitter, fared better with a 3-4 night with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, a home run and 4 ribbies. Matt Gilbert went 4-4. Cale’s was in a good spot with 15 runs scored.

PBC had a huge 2nd inning plating 9 runs. Jim Donahue had a 2-run double and Keith Briggs went 2-2 in the inning alone, both doubles both driving in a run. But as was game one, a walk-off rally was needed. Down 15-14, Jeremy Adams led off the home half of the 7th with a single. He would then come around and score on Ethan Anderson’s hit to complete the rally and win walk-off style…16-15

Game Three: Vertex v. Just Food

Just Food got nice production from Mike Casbar who went 3-3 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored and an rbi. Brandon Walker was also 3-3 and Rich Schmidt added a 2-3 night. Just Foods plated 9.

Vertex scored 4 runs in 3 different innings to keep pace and take the game. Frank Staber’s 2-run single capped the 2nd inning, Sean Nonemacher’s solo blast in the 3rd highlighted the 4 run, 2nd inning and Frank Staber collecting his 3rd hit of the night (single) drove in the 4th run in the 5th. Vertex plated 13 and won.

Game Four: Beers v. Da Bears

Sean Valenza came a home run short of the cycle while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Matt Kahn also drove in 2 runs and Curran Conley was 3-4 with a triple and rbi. Da Bears plated 11 for the game.

But this game was all Beers. A ton of errors and bombs led to a 22-run explosion. Ryan Maley had a 2-run shot in the 1st, Connor McFarlane had a 2-run shot in the 2nd, Matt Kane with a big double in the 4th, Ryan Maley driving in 2 more with a double in the 5th and Ryan Calabro singling home 2 in the 4th which would be the exclamation point to an 8-run 6th. Beers plate 22 and take the night cap easily.
