Game One: Beers v. Just Food

Forfeit victory for Just Food

Game Two: Cale’s Pale Ales v. Mike’s Bar & Grill

Cale’s crew wasted not time getting started offensively as they plated 7 runs in the first. Craig Magid capped the inning with his 2-run single. Doubles in the 2nd inning by Matt Gilbert & TJ Ohntrup led to 4 more runs. Finally, in the 7th they really put the game away. Cale Mosher doubled home 2 runs with a triple and Brennan hit his 2nd triple of the game…driving in 2 more runs. Brennan finished with 5 ribbies.

It seemed like every time Cale’s made an error, Mike’s scored. An error in the first led to Matt McReynolds scoring in the first. An error in the 3rd led to back-to-back-to-back doubles by Matt, Dave Shannon & John Biondo in route to 4 more runs. Inning should have ended in the 4th but left the opportunity open for Mike’s to plate 4 more. And lastly, in the 7th…Dave led off with a double with Tony Stuart driving him in for the team’s 10th run. Would not be enough, they lose by 9.

Game Three: Vertex v. Da Bears

This game was certainly all Vertex. Matt Schaub had a 3-3 game which included 2 triples and 3 runs scored. KC Ingram was also 3-3 with 2 doubled and each at bat driving in a run. Tom Rider also went 3-3 with a double and 2 ribbies.

Da Bears managed 3 singled for the game. That’s it. No more to say.

Game Four: Pitches Be Crazy v. Team Horsham

PBC scored 4 times in the first with Tim Donahue, Alex Freeman, Brian Hughes and Chad Wood all scoring. Alex tripled home a run in the 2nd and later scored on Brian Hughes’ FC. Brian later doubled and scored in the 4th and walked in a run in the 5th as PBC pushed 11 men across the plate.

Team Horsham got amazing production from the 1-5 hitters. Combined, they had a 16-18 night with a sac fly and a walk. They also scored 12 of the teams 14 runs, 5 doubles and a triple. Those hitters were:
• Jarrett Pendergast 2-4
• Dan Lineberger 3-3, BB
• Brett Saverio 4-4
• Vince Paone 3-3
Horsham took the game 14-11.
