Game One: Pitches Be Crazy v. Mike’s Bar & Grill

Dave Shannon’s 2-run double and Tony Stewart’s rbi single helped cap a 6-run inning for Mike’s. Matt McReynolds later added a 2-run blast as Mike’s finished with 9 for the game.

On the other hand, PBC had a nice day from Alex Freeman. Alex was 3-4 with a BB, 1B, 2B and #B while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Chad Wood scored 5 times and as a team PBC drew 11 walks. PBC score 20 and take the game easily.


Game Two: Vertex v. Beers

Vertex used the early innings to get their offense going. 6 runs in the 1st, 3 runs in the 2nd and 8 runs in the 3rd. Sean Nonemacher and Shane Hanna were both 3-3 through the games first three innings with a combined 5 runs scored. This while helping Vertex plate 20 men.

Beers’ on the other hand used the later innings to get going. 10 runs in the 5th and 4 runs in the 6th. Ryan Maley had a 2-run single and Matt Kane doubled home 2 in the 6th. Beers’ scored 15, but still fell short by 5.



Game Three: Team Horsham v. Cale’s Pale Ales

Kevin Raymond had himself a game going 4-5 which included a double, a triple and 4 rbi. Dave Knox and Cale Mosher both homered in the game Brennan Rudnick drove in 3 while coming just a HR short of the cycle. Cale’s plated 17.

Horsham got a big 4th and 5th innings when Vic Patalano drove in 2 with a single in the 4th and Jarret Prendergast drove in 2 more with his double. Mike Harmon also drove in 2 (5th inn). Vince Poone and Matt Coalasso both drove in runs in the 7th as they attempted a rally but a ground out to the pitcher ended the rally and Horsham falls to Cale’s by 1.


Game Four: Just Food v. Da Bears

Playing shorthanded, Just Food did do their job offensively. Mike Casbar had 5 hits with 3 doubles and 4 ribbies. Branden Birkhead really had himself a game going 6-6 with 3 singles, 2 doubles a home run, 5 runs scored and 4 ribbies. Just Food scored 22.

Da Bears tried to keep pace. Zack Donelly scored 4 times, Tom Robinson homered in the 6th, Adam Ceneviva had 4 hits which included 2 doubles and a triple and Jason Adelman went 4-5 with 2 runs scored and 2 ribbies. But the game belonged to Just Food who won, 22-18.
