Game One: Toto/Kiefer v. Cales Pales Ales
Cales Pales Ales only managed to wcore 2 runs by Craig Magid and Cale Mosler. And this came on the heel of just 9 nits spread throughout the game.
John Erb drove in 2, scored 2 to go aong with a double and triple. Chris Hackney was 3-3 with a walk, single, double & Triple; scoring 3 times and driving in 2. They took this game 13-2.
Game Two: Vertex v. Porsche
Vertex went on to score 11 runs in the game all coming after the 4th inning. Chris Knechel had the big blow in the 7th inning with a 3-run bomb. Frank Staber drove in another run helping VErtext knot this game in the home half of the 7th.
A Mike Koexler triple cleared the bags in the 4th inning helping Porsche score 7 runs through 4 innings. In the 6th they scored 3 more by way of costly errors. In the 7th, another pair of costly errors would not just cost a run in the 7th but would cost Vertex the game. Porshe walks off 12-11.
Game Three: Slurricanes v. Mike’s Bar & Grill
Mike Henzal had himself a game for Slurricanes with a line of: 3-3,!B, 2B, HR, 2 runs scored and 5 rbi’s. Jean Mike Bowler had 2 doubles in the game with 2 runs scored and 2 runs driven in. Slurricanes plated 11 for the game.
Mike fared just better. Aided by shoddy defense the first 2 innings, they plated 12 runs through 2. Rich Stead had a 2-run single, Craig Henderson a 2-run double and Andy Markowitz drove in 3 in the inning with a single and double. Mike’s went on to score 17 in all and take this game late.
Game Four: Beers v. Just Foods
This game was an absolute beatdown. Just Foods managed just 2 walks, 5 hits and 3 runs scored. Rob Demko, David Iatarola and Daved Mergen the ones to score.
A MASSIVE 2nd inning basically was all Beers needed. Batting through the 10 man line up two times they went on to score 18 runs. Ryan Maley was 2-2 in the inning with a single, a home run and 4 runs driven in. Ryan Calabro was 3-3 in the first and 2nd innings alone with three extra base hits, a double and 2 triples. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. This game was over in the first inning, Beers winning 31-3.
