Game One: Beers v. Toto/Kiefer

TK Crew offense woke up in the late innings. Anthony Crawford jacked a 2-run homer in the 6th and Jay Cybok singled home 2. Chris Hackney had a sac-fly in the 7th which plates 2 runs and Cybok finished with 5 rbi’s in the game. Scoring 3 runs in the 7th, they attempted a rally but came up short.
Here’s why…
Beers’ offense got started early. Ryan Henritzy plated 2 in the 1st inning then hit one of two home runs in the 2nd inning, the other off the bat of Ryan Maley. Already leading 16-13, they added two more runs in the 7th after Alex Goldberg singled home a run and Ryan Maley tripled home another. Beers won 18-15.

Game Two: Slurricanes v. Just Food

Just Food had themselves an inning in the 4th highlighted by 3 very key erros leading to 7 runs scored. Connor OKeefe had just 1 hit but it came in the form of a 3-run blast. Dave Denko drove iin 3 more runs helping JF score 15 for the game.
A close game for the most part after an onslaught of singles in the 3rd inning helped Slurricanes plate 8 runs in the inning. Matt Perozze got a key hit in the 5th inning in the form of a 3-run home run capping a 5-run inning. But going into the 7th, the Slurricanes pulled away. After 2 quick, Kyle Achenbach singled home the innings 5th run helping the ‘Canes pull away by 7 late.

Game Three: Cales Pales Ales v. Mikes Bar & Grill

This game folks was not even close fron start to finish. Yes, Dennis DiAngelo was 2-2 with a single and double and 2 runs scored, but that was it. Just 8 hits in the game and 3 runs scored. I mean, sure!...if they held their opponent to 2 or 3 or maybe 4 runs, we can talk about it.
But the game was over early. Cales scored 6 in the first, 14 in the second, 8 in the third and 6 in the 4th. TJ Ohntrup had 7 rbi’s including a 3rd inning grand slam, and Brennan Rudnick scored 4 times on a 4-4 night. Cales scored thirty five times and well, they won.

Game Four: Porsche v. Vertex

Vertext spread their offense throughout the night as Tom Eggito doubled home a run in the 2nd, Nick Maile and Russell Miller both scored in the 3rd and Matt Schaub and Chris Beatty both singled home runs in the 7th. Vertex managed 9 runs in the game.
But Porsche was benefiting from questionable pitching and defensive play. Three walks and 2 errors led to 4 Porsche runs in the 3rd, another 2 walks in the 4th led to Tyler Allen and Warren Grant both driving in 2 runs in the 4th and Anthony B doubled home 2 more in the 6th as Porsche managed to push 15 runs across the plate and take this game.
