American Conference

Quarry

Game 1: Knobs & Knockers vs. Philly Junk

KAK bats around in the top of the first to score seven runs on walks, and a two run double by Zach Martin. Mike Bitterlich smashes a run scoring triple for PJ in the bottom of the first. KAK picks up two more runs in the top of the second. KAK bats around in the top of the sixth to pick up seven runs with a three run double by John Kiefer. Craig Richards launches a three run homer for PJ in the bottom of the seventh. Knobs and Knockers takes down Philly Junk, 20-7.

Game 2: Philly Junk vs. Outback

PJ bats around in the top of the first to plate seven runs with doubles by Craig Richards, JJ Wunderlich, Pat Feliciani, and Larry Kirschner. Outback answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Josh Steff rakes a run scoring double for Outback in the bottom of the second. PJ bats around again in the top of the fourth thanks to singles, a double by Craig Richards, and a Pat Feliciani triple. Ron Bannister laces a two run double for Outback in the bottom of the fourth. Outback manages to get another three runs in the bottom of the fifth. PJ adds five runs in the top of the seventh with a Craig Richards triple. Outback rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Philly Junk takes out Outback, 23-12.

National Conference

Game 1: JT Bankers vs. Wackers

The Wackers pick up six runs in the bottom of the first with doubles by Kyle Hutter, Angelo Vitantonio, and Pat Downey. JT bats around in the top of the second to score seven runs on singles. The Wackers get another two runs in the bottom of the third. JT gets five runs in the top of the fifth on singles, and doubles by Jon Rubin and Mike Moore. Singles lead to five runs for the Wackers in the bottom of the fifth. The Wackers squeak by JT Bankers, 14-13.

Game 2: Cleanin Up vs. Master Batters

CU starts off red hot in the top of the first, scoring thirteen runs with doubles by Steve Blasek, Tim Groves, Mike Stacey, and Dave Collopy. MB gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. Four runs cross the plate for CU in the top of the third thanks to back to back triples by Tim Groves and Chris Boyle. MB picks up another run in the bottom of the fourth. Cleanin Up downs Master Batters in five innings, 18-2.

Game 3: Team Hunt vs. Cleanin Up

A triple by Tim Groves helps CU get two runs in the bottom of the first. Doubles by Craig Rodenbaugh and Glenn Strattis get TH two runs in the top of the second. CU bats around in the bottom of the second to push seven runs across with doubles by Tim Groves, Chris Boyle, and John Pearce. John Pearce smashes a solo homer for CU in the bottom of the third. TH plates five runs in the top of the fourth. TH bats around in the top of the sixth to pick up eight runs on walks and singles. CU rallies in the bottom of the sixth for six runs with Dave Collopy driving in the game winning run with a single. Cleanin Up beats Team Hunt in walk off fashion, 19-18.

Cedar Hill

Game 1: Bomb Squad vs. Hit & Run

Four runs come in for HAR in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by Tom Collins, and an Adam Hebert triple. BS bats around in the top of the second to put up ten runs on errors, walks, a double by Carmen Brancato, and a Mike Marnoch triple. BS plates another four runs in the top of the third on errors and singles. Matt Korn rips a two run double for HAR in the bottom of the third. Adam Hebert smokes a two run double for HAR in the bottom of the fourth. Bomb Squad beats Hit & Run, 19-11.

Game 2: Long Shots vs. Hit & Run

Derek Strowhouer blasts a three run homer for LS in the top of the first. Matt Korn laces a two run triple for HAR in the bottom of the first. LS bats around in the top of the third to put up seven runs on walks and singles. A two run double by Dawn Lyman and an Adam Hebert triple gets HAR three runs in the bottom of the fifth. LS bats around again in the top of the seventh to pick up seven runs with a two run triple by Tom Strowhouer. The Long Shots beat up Hit & Run, 21-7.

Game 3: Long Shots vs. Slap A Pitch

A leadoff double by Jack Stepnowski leads to three runs for LS in the top of the first. SAP answers with three runs in the bottom of the first. Singles net SAP four runs in the bottom of the second. LS bats around in the top of the third to get nine runs on walks, singles, and a three run homer by Dave Cohen. The Long Shots take care of Slap A Pitch, 19-9.
