Game 1: Knobs & Knockers vs. Outback

Singles get KAK five runs in the top of the first. Outback answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Jon Poore and Mike Chwieroth blast back to back homers for KAK in hte top of the third. Jason Pane blasts a two run homer for Outback in the bottom of the third. Singles net KAK five runs in the top of the fourth. Outback picks up five runs for Outback in the bottom of the fifth with doubles by Rob Lyons and Ron Bannister. Back to back doubles by Rob Lyons and Jason Pane help Outback get six runs in the bottom of the sixth. KAK bats around in the top of the seventh to score ten runs on walks, singles, and homers by Jon Poore and Mike Chwieroth. Knobs & Knockers takes the first game, 25-17.

Game 2: Outback vs. Knobs & Knockers

Jon Poore and Mike Chwieroth launch back to back homers for KAK in the bottom of the first. Bill Thomas jacks a two run homer for Outback in the top of the second. KAK gets another four runs on singles in the bottom of the fourth. Bill Thomas smashes another two run homer for Outback in the top of the fifth. Singles give Outback two more runs in the top of the sixth. Five runs cross the plate for KAK in the bottom of the sixth with a double by Chris Hackney. Knobs & Knockers wins the second game, 15-11, and the summer title.

Game 1: Cleanin Up vs. Long Shots

A leadoff triple by Steve Blasek leads to a run for CU in the top of the first. Josh Mercedes smashes a solo homer for LS in the bottom of the second. CU plates two runs in the top of the third. LS bats around in the bottom of the third to score fourteen runs on walks, singles, and a two run double by Jack Stepnowski. Walks and singles give LS four runs in the bottom of the fourth. Mike Stacey blasts a leadoff homer for CU in the top of the fifth. The Long Shots beat down Cleanin Up, 20-5.

Game 2: Slap A Pitch vs. Bomb Squad

Homers by Harrison Miller and Shane Foley lead to six runs for SAP in the top of the first. BS answers with five runs in the bottom of the first, courtesy of a two run triple by Ben Gillis and a Bill Brancato two run homer. BS plates five runs in the bottom of the third with singles. SAP plates three more runs in the top of the fourth. Mike Tercha jacks a two run homer for BS in the bottom of the fifth. Shane Foley jacks a solo homer for SAP in the top of teh seventh. Bomb Squad out slugs Slap A Pitch, 16-12.

Game 3: Long Shots vs. Wackers

A double by Derek Strowhouer leads to two runs for LS in the top of the first. The Wackers answer with a run in the bottom of the first. Derek Strowhouer launches a three run homer for LS in the top of the second. Pat Downey smokes a bases loaded triple for the Wackers in the bottom of the third. LS plates another run in the top of the fifth. Kyle Hutter hits a solo homer for the Wackers in the bottom of the fifth. Singles net the Wackers five runs in the bottom of the sixth. LS rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. The Wackers top the Long Shots, 16-11.

Game 4: Bomb Squad vs. JT Bankers

Bill Brancato jacks a two run homer for BS in the top of the first. JT gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. A double by Gabe Morales helps BS put up five runs in the top of the third. A leadoff double by Dan Croak helps JT plate three runs in the bottom of the third. JT rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh thanks to a run scoring triple by Nick Cordisco. Bomb Squad beats JT Bankers, 9-6.
