Game #1 – Roos vs. Bry-Lex

Roos get rolling with a run off the bat of Chris Shaffer to give Roos a 1-0 lead right out of the gate. Bry-Lex responds with an RBI single from Bryce Bundy and another run on an error grabbing a one-run lead. Roos quickly take the lead back. Montvydas and Jake Blum grab three runs on back to back doubles. Jeremy Villano then responds with an RBI double of his own. Schaffer was back at work and grabbed one more run on a RBI single pushing the Roos lead to 6-2. Shawn Pflegar starts the comeback for Bry-Lex smashing an RBI triple and getting them to within two runs. Montvydas and Schaffer were back at it again smashing a solo home run and RBI double respectfully. Roos start to put the game away in the fifth and sixth Villano smashed a grand slam and Schaffer launched a three run homer in the innings as this helps to put the game away. Roos win 18-8.

Game #2 – Dug Out Demons vs. Roos


Demons come out rolling in this one running right through the lineup and batting around. Evan Porter started the scoring with an RBI single, following by RBI singles from Nick Mancini, Bill Shallcross, Cody Runner, Lauren Wood and Keith Keppley. Jay Pane and Ashley Arden add four more runs with two run hits in the second as Demons jump out to a 13-0 lead after two innings. They continue their pounding in the fifth as Chris Morgan launches a three run bomb into the quarry woods pushing their lead up to 15. Roos are able to add a couple runs later in the game, but struggle to get anything significant going. Evan Porter ices the game late with a three run bomb as Demons win big. Demons win 24-3.

Game #3 – Dug Out Demons vs. Rock N Rebel

Demons are up first in their second game of the night and they come out flying like in the previous game. Keppley started the game strong with a solo homer right out of the gate. The next 9 hitters reach base and it is highlighted by a Shallcross two run double and Jarret Kerns RBI triple. Demons end up grabbing nine runs in the top of the first. Rebel get one run back on a Bob Baginski RBI single. Demons have a slow second inning being shut down for a rare inning, but then are right back to work in the third inning. Frank Hackett got them going with a two run single and later in the inning Ashley Alden knocked in two with a two run triple. Alden was back at it with another triple in the following inning, this time driving in a run. Chris Morgan helps to put this game away as he continues to swing a red hot bat grabbing a two run single in the fourth inning and three run homer in the fifth inning. In the end, the result was just like the first one, with Demons winning easily. Demons win 24-4.

Game #4 – Rock N Rebel vs. Sons of Pitches

Rebels come out swinging with three runs on the first game. Bobby Citiro and Emily Kline grab RBI singles in the inning. Pitches respond with three runs of their own from RBI singles from Jon Motts and Ryand Windt as well as a CJ Motts RBI double. Pitches take the lead in the bottom of the second with a Carl Motts RBI single and RBI doubles from Motts and Windt. Pitches continue to be consistent and grab 10 runs across the next three innings increasing their lead every inning. Jon Motts and Ryan Windt continue to crush the ball as they combine for three doubles and a single and drive in 3 runs. Rebels start to rally late and get to within five runs thanks to a Dave McDonald RBI double and Mark McCouch RBI single, but it wouldn’t be enough tonight. Pitches win 17-12.
