Game #1 – Wackers vs. Sons of Pitches

Wackers get going early in this one as they push four runs across in the first. Rob Shuck and Eden Harvest had RBI singles to start it and later in the inning, Angie Georgiadas and Mike Kelly smacked RBI singles of their own. Pitches respond immediately with five runs of their own. Jon Duchette started with an RBI double, followed by a two run triple from Jon Motts. CJ Motts and Justin Ruth also added RBI’s in the inning. Wackers get right back on it in the next inning with three more runs. Shuck did damage again, this time a two run triple. More of the same in the third inning as Shuck drops a two run single in and Wackers take a 12-7 lead after three innings. Pitches tie the game up in the fourth getting a two run triple from Carl Motts, and RBI singles from Kaelyn Motts, Jon Duchette and CJ Motts. Neither team scores in the sixth as we head to the seventh with this game tied. Wackers grab a two run lead from a Mike Kelly RBI single and Vanessa Jones sac fly. Pitches come out and bring the lead down to one getting a RBI single from Duchette. CJ Motts plays hero in this one as he walks it off with a two run single. Pitches win 15-14.

Game #2 – Dug Out Demons vs. Roos

The second game starts off with a Rob Lyons leadoff dinger to give them the early 1-0 lead. Anthony Crawford answered that with an RBI single of his own. Demons grab two runs in the second and then break the game open in the third. Nick Mancini started the scoring with a RBI single and then back to back bombs by Evan Porter and Cody Runner give Demons the 8-1 lead. Demons continue to hit well grabbing four more runs in the fifth. Shallcross had an RBI triple and Mancini had a two run double in the inning. Demons put this game away late with a three run bomb by Runner, his second home run of the game. Demons win easy in this one. Demons win 17-6.

Game #3 – Dug Out Demons vs. The Maize

Demons look to come out of the gate swinging the bats well again and do so grabbing nine runs right out of the gate. Porter started the scoring with a two run triple and is followed by RBI singles from Runner and Katie O. Lyons also had a bases clearing triple later in the inning. More of the same came in the second inning as the Demons explode again, this time for 13 runs. Everyone was getting into the action with RBI singles, but the inning was highlighted from a solo shot from Shallcross. Maize grabs a couple runs, but can’t really get anything going with Demons as they continue to push runs across every inning. Walks and RBI singles hurt The Maize in the third as Demons roll for another seven runs. In the end, Demons end up steamrolling this game. Demons win 33-3.

Game #4 – Andy’s vs. The Maize

Maize looks to start off this game better than the last game, but unfortunately Andy’s jump out to a big lead early. Andy’s bat around and grab seven runs. Mike Koz had an RBI double, and Brittany Ullman, Danielle Buzin, and Chris Hesdon had RBI singles. Adam Lightkep and Ron Pulli also had RBI singles later in the inning. Ian Cuzzo adds another run for Andy’s on a RBI double and later in the inning Hesdon adds one on an RBI single. Maize continues to struggle on the day and grabs a run in the second, but that is it. Andy’s take control late adding seven more runs across the fourth and fifth inning and end this one early. Koz accounted for two, two run singles late in the cause. Andy’s win 16-1.
